CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 75 -`~~ BY•_ Mr. Limpert AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL CHART OF THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT, SETTING FORTH THE COMPLEMENT OF THE BUILDING DEPART- MENT AND ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO THE EMPLOYEES OF THE BUILDING DEPART- MENT, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 74-57, ENACTED MAY 21, 1974, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Council has established the Organizational Chart for the Building Department into a separate ordinance setting forth the personnel needed.; and, WHEREAS, Council wishes to set forth the compensation to be paid to the employees of the Building Department; and, WHEREAS, the establishing of an Organizational Chart together with the salaries to be paid will assist the Director of Finance in paying the remuneration established to the employees of the Building Department; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Complement of the Building Department is hereby established and set forth as follows: Building Commissioner Chief Inspector Building In~epectors (2) Sewer & Plumbing Inspectors Electrical Inspector (part-time) Heating & Ventilating Inspector Architectural Consultant (contract) Secretary to Building Commissioner Clerk Clerk (part-time as needed) Inspectors (part-time as needed) SECTION 2: That retroactive to January 1, 1975, the remunera- tion to be paid to employees of the Building Department shall be as follows: Building Commissioner $12,000.00 to $19,736.00 Chief Inspector $9,000.00 to $15,092.00 Building Inspectors $8,000.00 to $13,931.00 Sewer & Plumbing Inspectors Electrical Inspector (part-time) Heat. & Vent. Inspector Architectural Consultant Sewer & Plumbing Inspector (part-time) Annually Annually Annually $8,000.00 to $13,931.00 Annually $4,000.00 to $7,547.00 Annually $8,000.00 to $13,931.00 Annually Up to $5,564.00 Annually $4.40 to $6.42 Per Hour
