SECTION 3: That excluding secretarial and clerical employees, that all full-time employees of the Building Department having completed five (5) years of full-time continuous service, as employees of said department, shall be paid an additional 4% of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion often (10) years full-time continuous ~s~ervice, after which such employee shall receive 5% of their base annual salary, thereafter until the comple- tion of the fifteenth (15th) year of continuous full-time service, and thereafter 6% of their base annual salary until after the comple- tion of the twentieth (20th) year of continuous full-time service, and during each year of full-time service thereafter they shall receive 7% of their base annual salary as longevity increments. SECTION 4: In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for part-time services, but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity increments, and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of any other benefits which may be due them for part-time service, as employees of the Building Department. SECTION 5: That the employees of the Building Department shall not be required to work the following holidays, unless requested to work by the Building Commissioner in an emergency: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; president's Day; and floating holiday. SECTION 6: That all full-time employees of the Building Depart- ment shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full-time service Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full-time service Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full-time service. SECTION 7: That any other ordinances, or resolutions, or parts of ordinances, or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 74-57, enacted May 21, 1974, are hereby repealed with the effective date of this ordinance. SECTION 8: That the Clerk of Council is hereby instructed to forward a copy of this ordinance to the Building Commissioner and the Director of Finance for the payment of remuneration, as set forth above, immediately upon its passage.
