<br />Ordinance No. 62-6 was introduced by Mr. Caster. An ordinance amending Sections
<br />1 and 2 of Ordinance 3117, enacted September 21, 1960, entitled: "Ordinance
<br />providing for part-time secretary for and to asst the Solicitor for the City
<br />of North Olmsted, and providing compensation therefor so as to provide a part-
<br />time secretary for the Director of Law for the City of North Olmsted, Ohio",
<br />and declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr. Caster, seconded by Mr. Mangani,
<br />that the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be read immediately the
<br />second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said
<br />motion was as follows: Caster, Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas,
<br />O'Neill. Thereupon the ordinance was read the second and third times and put
<br />upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Caster,
<br />Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O'Neill.
<br />Resolution No. 62-7 was introduced by Mr. Mangani. A resolution commending
<br />the public service of Clarence J. Oviatt, Solicitor, and George H. Porter, III,
<br />Councilman, whose terms of office expired December 31, 1961, and declaring an
<br />emergency. It was moved by Mr. Mangani, seconded by Mr. Limpert, that the
<br />statutory rule be suspended and the eesolution be read immediately the second
<br />and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion
<br />was as follows: Caster, Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas,
<br />O'Neill. Thereupon the resolution was read the second and third times and put
<br />upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Caster,

<br />Resolution No. 62-8 was introduced by Mr. Christman. A resolution granting
<br />a ninety day extension of the completion date of a contract between the City
<br />of North Olmsted and the Nardi Contracting Company, Inc., and Quaker Engineering
<br />Supply for work installing sewers - further designated as contract No. 4 which
<br />presently expires on January 6, 1962, and declaring an emergency. It was moved
<br />by Mr. Christman, seconded by Mr. Limpert, that the statutory rule be suspended
<br />and the resolution be read immediately the second and third times and put on
<br />its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Caster,
<br />Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O'Neill. Thereupon the

<br />designated as contract No. 5 which presently expires on January 27, 1962, and

<br />the second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on

<br />Resolution No. 62-10 was introduced by Mr. Mangani. A resolution authorizi ng
<br />the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the construction of
<br />service connections to the lateral sewers constructed within the Libby-Lee
<br />[nc. Subdivision and the Lorain Mutual Investment Company Subdivision, and
<br />declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr. Mangani, seconded by Mr. Christman,
<br />that the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read immediately
<br />the second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on
<br />said motion was as follows: Caster, Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas,
<br />O'Neill. Thereupon the resolution was read the second and third times and put
<br />upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Caster,
<br />Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O'Neill.
<br />The Service Dirr requested that the Transportation Committee consider the
<br />possibility xsf/the payment of the Bus Line debt to PERS be taken out of the
<br />General Fund in accordance with Ordinance 378.
<br />Mr. Caster reported on the meeting with the residents concerning the Decker
<br />Rd. area drainage problem.
