DECEMBER 19, 1961 - PAGE 3 <br />Resolution No. 61-224 was introduced by Mr. Caster. A resolution amending Section <br />1 and Section 2 of Ordinance 3188 enacted December 6, 1950; and declaring an <br />emergency. It was moved by Mr. Caster, seconded by Mr. Limpert, that the statutory <br />rule be suspended and the resolutuon be read immediately the second and third times <br />and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as fi~llows: <br />Caster, Christman, Limpert, Nicholas, O'Neill, Porter. Thereupon the resolution <br />was read the second and third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative <br />vote thereon was as follows: Caster, Christman, Limpert, Nicholas, O'Neill, Porter. <br />The Clerk was instructed to contact Mr. Spilberg of the State Department of High <br />ways to set up a meeting at the North Olmsted City Hall on Jan. 4, 1962 at 8:00 <br />P.M. to discuss the proposed route of the Outer Belt South Freeway Extension. <br />Mr. Porter advised that the Safety Committee does not recommend entering into a <br />contract with Parkview for mutual Fire and Police aid. <br />Mr. Caster advised that there is to be a meeting at City Hall on Dec. 28, 1961 <br />at 7:30 P.M. with the residents of the Decker-Burns Rd. area to discuss the <br />storm sewer problem and requested all City Officials-who could attend to be at <br />the meeting. <br />The Service Director's recommendabtion of a six cents per hour increase in <br />salary for the Bus Drivers is to/considered by the ~~ Committee. <br />Transportation <br />Mr. Christman moved, seconded by Mr. Limpert, authorizing the Engineer to prepare <br />the necessary legal description to procure easements to construct a culvert <br />for Alexander Road Storm Sewer. "Yeas" Caster, Christman, Limpert, Nicholas, <br />O'Neill, Porter. <br />Mr. Lim~¢~t moved, seconded by Mr. Porter, that Mr. Mangani's absence be excused . <br />"Yeas" Caster, Christman, Limpert, Nicholas, O'Neill, Porter. <br />The Clerk read a letter of thanks from 0~. J. Oviatt. <br />Mr. O'Neill moved, seconded by Mrs. Nicholas, that a letter of commendation be <br />prepared for George Porter and C. J. Oviatt.
