<br />Present were Paul J. Gareau~ Mayor; Bruce MacDonald, President of Coin il; Henry
<br />Caster, Ralph Christman, Dewey Limpert, A.L. Mangani, Lillian Nicholas, Francis
<br />J. O'Neill, George Porter
<br />Also present were Lloyd E. Barnes, Service Director; C.J. Uviatt, Solicitor; James
<br />T. Wilson, Safety Director; Alex Kanareff, Engineer; and. Louise Hall, Clerk.
<br />Absent: William L. Jerlach~ Finance Director
<br />The minutes of the regular meeting of October 17, 1961 were approved as writtex~_.
<br />The Clerk read a letter from the Cleveland Water Department pertaining to
<br />Ordinance 61-156 regarding Sewage Assessment charges and penalties.
<br />The Clerk read a letter from Mayor James A. Dunson, of Fairview Park,
<br />advising of an irb-service training program for supervisory personnel
<br />commencing November 13, 19b1 inviting the Mayor or a designated representative
<br />to attend.
<br />Ordinance No. 61-1$9 was introduced by Mr. C}~r~,stman. An ordinance amending
<br />Section 1 of Ordinance 61.-156 enacted A~ust 15, 19b1 being an Ordinance amend-
<br />irag Section 1 of Ordinance 61•-110 enacted May 16, 1961 amending Sub-sectian a
<br />and Sub-section b of Ordinance 3159 enacted November 15, 1960 entitled '~An
<br />ordinance establishing rates to be charged for the services of the Municipal
<br />Sanitary Sewerage System Utility in the City of North Olmsted and repealing
<br />Ordinance 2867 enacted June 25~ 1959" and declaring an emergency. It was moved
<br />by Mr. Christman, seconded by Mr. Porter, that the statutory rule be suspended
<br />and the ordinance be read imn~diately the second and third times and put on
<br />its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Caster
<br />Christman Limpert, Mangani~ Nicholas O~Nei11~ Porter. Thereupon the ordinance
<br />was read the second and third times and put upon its passage aril the affirmative
<br />vote thereon was as follows: Casters Christman Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas,
<br />OtNeill, Porter.
<br />Jrdinance No. 61-190 was introduced by Mr. Caster. An ordinance auuthorizing
<br />aryl directing the cancellation of special assessments on permanent parcel
<br />Aio. 2311-28-20, Mackenzie Road, being an assessment for the preparation of
<br />detailed plans and specifications for a sewerage system for the City of North
<br />Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr. Caster, seconded
<br />by Mr. Mangani, that the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be
<br />read immediately the second and third times and put on its passage. The
<br />affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Caster, Christman, Limpert,
<br />'~angani, Nicholas, OtNeill, Porter. Thereupon the ordinance was read the
<br />second acid third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote
<br />thereon was as follows: Caster, Christman, Limpert Manaani, Nicholas O~Neill,

<br />Ordinance No. 61-191 was introduced by Mr. Christman. An ordinance cancelling
<br />special assessments on permaae~htparcel No. 232-27-!tl, Selhurst Road, being
<br />an assessment for the preparation of detailed plans and specifications for a
<br />sewerage system for the City of Nar~th Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. It
<br />was moved by Mr. Christman, seconded by Mr. Caster, that the statutory solo be

<br />special assessments on Permanent Parcel No. 232-26-15, Lorain Road, being an.;
<br />assessment for the preparation of deta~ led plans and specifications for a sewerage
<br />system for the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Tt was mouse
<br />by 1~1r. Limpert, seconded by Mr. P~anSani, that tre statutory rule be suspended
