<br />Resolution No. 61-186 was introduced by Mr. Porter. A resolution authorizing
<br />the removing of "No Perking" signs on therest side of East Park Drive and the
<br />east side of West Park Drive, and declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr.
<br />Porter, seconded by Mr. Limpert, that the statutory rule be suspended and the
<br />resolution be read immediately the second and third times and put on its
<br />passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Caster, Christman,
<br />Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O~Neill, Porter. Thereupon the resolution was read
<br />the second and third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote

<br />1500 tons of slag to the City, and declaring an emergency. It was moved by
<br />Mr. O~Neill, seconded by Mr. Limpert, that the statutory rule be s uspended and

<br />passage. The affirmative vote on s aid motion was as follows: Caster, Christman,

<br />the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the furnishing of
<br />tires for the City auto~otive equipment and declaring an emergency. It was
<br />moved by Mr. Mangani, s econded by Mr. Caster, that the statutory rule be
<br />suspended and the resolution be read immediately the second and third times
<br />and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows:

<br />Mr. Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. Caster, that the Legislative Committee consider
<br />the change of zoning for tree land bounded by Fleharty to the west; Columbia to
<br />the east; 500 ft. along Lorain Rd. to Brookpark, be rezoned to a Multiple Use
<br />District, the same zoning proposed for the land on the opposite side of Brookpark.

<br />N's. Caster recommended that the Transportation Committee consider an addition
<br />of Bus service to the southwest end. of town.
<br />The Maiyor advised that a route for that area is already being planned and
<br />mould be given to the Committee for approval,
<br />M~~ MacDonald advised that the next regular meeting of Council would be on
<br />Wednesday, November 8, 1961 because Tuesday, November 7, 1961 is Election Day.
<br />The meeting adjourned to the call of the clerk at 9:~5 P.M.
