JUNE b, 1961 -PAGE 3 Mrs. Nicholas suggested that a meeting beheld with the Planning Commission as soon as possible in order to expedite the revision of the Zoning Ordinance. The Clerk was instructed to contact Mr. Kadyla.k, Chairman of the Planning Commission, and arrange a meeting with them at the earliest possible time. Mr. CY~istman advised that the residents of Walter Road agree that ~'~ the year should not be installed until after the lateral sewer is constructs ~,iy~ a 1961 they would like sidewalks on both sides of the street at that time. The Service Din ectorss recommendation that an ordinance be created for the construction of driveway aprons to conform to the sidewalk specifications in driveways was turned over to the Streets, Sidewalks, Sewers and Ditches Committee. Mr. OsNeill moved, seconded by Mr. Limpert, that the Solicitor be directed to prepare legislation directing the developers to dispose of debris (tree stumps,etc.) as they proceed with building rather than piling it on vacant lots. "Yeas" Caster, Christman, Limpert~ Mangani, Nicholas, OtNeill, The Service Director advised that the semi final inspection.-: of the ~eat"tent Plant wilt be Thursday, June 8, 1961 at 10:30 A.M. and requested a member of the Sewer Committee and anyone else of Council who wished to be present. Mr. Christman and Mr. OtNeill stated that they would be able to attend, The Service Director requested that legislation be drawn creating the positions of a Maintenance Mechanic and Assistant for the Treatment Plant and establishing wages for tltiese positions. This matter is under consideration by the Finance Committee. The Safety Director reminded everyone of the plans for "All ScoutsDay" on June 10, 1961 and requested that all be present at 8 A.M. in order to make the day a success. Mr. Christman moved, seconded by Mr. Mangani, that the Clem notify the residents of Canterbury Road who have not installed sidewalks that the revised plans for the remaining work are on file. Mr. Christman moved, seconded by Mr. Caster, that the Solicitor be directed to prepare legislation releasing the sidewalk bond for W. 231 St. retaining the necessary monies for inspection fees. Mr. Christman reported on the progress on obtaining the dedication of a 10 $. strip of land on Dover Road for the construction of the sewer and sidewalk and advised further negotiations must be made. Mr. Caster advised that the Community Council will match any monies donated for the improvement of the interior of the Community Cabin (furniture, equipment, etc.). Mr. O~Neill moved, seconded by Mr. Limps rt, that Mr. Portents absence be excused. "Yeas" Caster, Christman, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, OsNeill.
