MARCH 21, 1961 -PAGE 3 <br />Ordinance No. 61«55 was introduced by Mr. O'Neill. An ordinanse amending <br />paragraph ~. of Section 1~ and paragraph 4 of Section 2 of Ordinance 3093, <br />enacted September 6, 1960, entitled, "An ordinance amending sections 1 and 2 <br />of Ordinance 30l~3, enacted June 13, 1960, amending Sections 1 and 2 of Ordinance <br />2821, enacted March 3, 1959, amending Sections 1 and 2 of ordinance 2603 <br />enacted December 17, 1957, amending Section 1 and 2 of Ordinance 221lt~ entitled <br />'sAn ordinance detern-ining salaries, wages and bonds of appointed officials <br />and employees of the City of North Olmsted", as amended by Ordinance 2496 <br />enacted June !t, 1957 and Ordinance 2533 enacted August 20, 1957," and declaring <br />an emergency. It was moved by Mr. O'Neill, seconded by Mr. Porters that the <br />statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be read immediately the second and <br />third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was <br />as follr~ws: Caster, Christman! Limpert~ Mangani~ Nicholas, O'ldeill~ Porter. <br />Thereupon the ordinance was read the second and third times and put upon its <br />passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Casters Christman <br />Limper t, Mangani, Nicholas, O'Neill: Porter. <br />Ordinance No. 61••56 was introduced by Mr. Mangani, An ordinance directing the <br />appropriation of certain property as hereinafter described and declaring an <br />emergency. It was moved by Mr, Mangani, seconded by Mr. Caster, that the <br />statutory i^ule be suspended and the ordinance be read immediately the second <br />and trg~d times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was <br />follor~ : Caster, Christman! Limpe rt, Mangani, Nish ol,as, 0' iVei 11~ Porter. <br />Thereupon the ordinance was read the second ar~d third times and put upon its <br />passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Caster, Christman, <br />Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O';deill, Porter. <br />Ordinance No, 61•-57 was introduced by Mr. O'Neill, An ordinance granting a salary <br />and wage increase to members of the Fire and Police Departments of the City and <br />certain other salary and hourly rated employees etscepting employees of the <br />Service Department and of the Municipal Coach Line and declaring an emergency. <br />It was moved by Mr. OtNeill~ seconded by Mr. Porter, that the statutory rule be <br />suspended and the ordinance be read immediately the second and third times and <br />put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows Caster, <br />Christman, Limper t, Mangani, Nicholas, 0~;3ei11, Porter. Thereupon the ordinance <br />was. r cad the second and third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative <br />vote thereon was as follows: Caster, Christman LinQ~ert, Margani! Nicholas, O=`Veill, <br />Pct ter. <br />Mr, Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. Porters that the Solicitor be directed to <br />prepare legislation accepting the plat of Candelite Subdivision for recording <br />purposes only with the stipulations that Block "B" be deeded to the City for use <br />~.an an access and that the linen be signed by all who are requ~ed to sign it, <br />'~Yeasti Caster, Christman, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O'Neill, Porter. <br />~%~ Mangani maveda seconded by Mr. Caster, that the Solictor be directed to <br />prepare legislation to accept the preliminary plot ~.ans for Columbia Estates <br />Developments Inc. for recar~ding purposes only with the s tipulations that Sublot <br />8 be dedicated to the City as a permanent street, and that the "'temporarily <br />reserved for future street'+ notation on the Plot be removed and a master <br />plat p]a.n cf the areas dated February 1961, be made a part of the record. for <br />futx~xe planning in the area. "Yeas" Caster, Christman, Limpert, Margani, <br />Nicholas, O'Neill, Porter. <br />The Service Directorts request for aa~thority to advertise for bids for one 3/4 <br />ton truck was turned over to the Finance Committte®. <br />The Safety Diree~or~s recommendation for the purchase of anew 1,000 gallon <br />pumper for the Fire Department was turned over to the Finance and Safety Commit tees. <br />Mr, Caster moved, seconded by Mrs. Nicholas, that the Solicitor be directed to <br />prepare legislation approving House Bill No. 667. "Yeas" Caster, Christman, <br />Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O'Neill Porter, <br />PZr'. Christman reported on the meeting .concerning our possible panticipati.on in <br />a proposed incinerator on Eastland Rd., Bnookpark.
