MARCH 21~ 1961 ~ PAGE 2 Mr. Christman read a letter from Floyd Browne & Assoc. regarding the width of the trench necessary in Dover Center Road and advised that the Committee will study this along with Mr, Kanareffts recommendations and present their recommendations at the next meeting. Mr. Ray Helt~ Chai.rn-an of the Civil Service Commissions appeared before Council in reference to the Duties of the Civil Servl~.ce Commission as set up by the Charter and requested Councilis help in establishing a mare complete listing of Classified and Unclassified Services. Mr, Carl Milstien presented revised plot plans for Candelite Subdt~vi.sion f'or recording purposes only. Resolution No. 61.50 was introduced by Mr. Christman. A resolution authorizing the Service Director to advertise for bids for the furnishing of 1500 tons of slag to the City and declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr, Chri stzran~ seconded by Mr. OtNeill, that the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read immediately the second and third times and put on its passage.
