MARCH 21~ 1961 ~ PAGE 2 <br />Mr. Christman read a letter from Floyd Browne & Assoc. regarding the width <br />of the trench necessary in Dover Center Road and advised that the Committee <br />will study this along with Mr, Kanareffts recommendations and present their <br />recommendations at the next meeting. <br />Mr. Ray Helt~ Chai.rn-an of the Civil Service Commissions appeared before Council <br />in reference to the Duties of the Civil Servl~.ce Commission as set up by the <br />Charter and requested Councilis help in establishing a mare complete listing <br />of Classified and Unclassified Services. <br />Mr, Carl Milstien presented revised plot plans for Candelite Subdt~vi.sion f'or <br />recording purposes only. <br />Resolution No. 61.50 was introduced by Mr. Christman. A resolution authorizing <br />the Service Director to advertise for bids for the furnishing of 1500 tons of <br />slag to the City and declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr, Chri stzran~ <br />seconded by Mr. OtNeill, that the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution <br />be read immediately the second and third times and put on its passage. The <br />affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Castkr~ Christman Limpert, <br />Mangani~ Nicholas OtNeill~ Porter. Thereupon the resolution was read the <br />second and third times ar:d put upon its passage axri the affirmative vote thereon <br />was as follows: Casters Christman Limpert! Mangani, Nicholas OtNeill~ Porter. <br />Ordinance No. 6151 was introduced by Mr. Mangani, An ordinance authorizing <br />and directing the cancellation of special asseeRSments on permanent parcel No, <br />231-9-23 on West 231st. Streets being an assessment for the preparation of <br />detailed plans and specifications far a sewerage system for the City of North <br />Olmsted and declaring an emergency. It was moved by ~, Mangani~ seconded by <br />Mr. Casters that the statutory rule be suspended atxl the ordinance be read <br />irrmiediately the second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative <br />vote on said motion was as follows: Casters Christman Limpert~ Mangani, Nicholas, <br />O~Neill~ Porter, Thereupon the ordinance was read the second and third times <br />and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: <br />Casters Christman, Limpert~ Mangani~ Nicholas, 0 ~ Iveill~ Porter, <br />Ordinance No. 61»52 was introduced by Mrs. Nicholas. An ordinance authorizing <br />and directing the cancellation of special assessments on permanent parcel No. <br />236..15..35 on Carey Laney being an assessment for the preparation of detailed <br />plans and specifications for a sewerage system for the City of North Ol.msted~ <br />and declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mrs. Nicholas seconded by Mr. <br />Limpert, that the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be read <br />immediately the second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative <br />vote on said motion was as follows: Caster, Christman Limpert~ Mangani~ <br />Nicholas, OtA7eill, Porter. Thereupon the ordinance was read the second and <br />thiral~ times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as <br />follows; Casters Christman, Limpert~ Mangani~ Nicholas O~Neill~ Porter. <br />Resolution No. 61853 was introduced by Mr, Christman. A resolution anending <br />Section 1 of resolution 61..15 enacted January 17~ 1961, entitled pA resolution <br />authorizing and directing the Director of Public Service to enter into an extension <br />~ ninety (90) days for completion of the construction of the Sewage Treatment <br />Plants and declaring an emergeneytt It was moved by Mr. Christman seconded by <br />Mr. Mangani~ that the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read <br />immediately the second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative <br />vote on said motion was as follows: Casters Christanan~ Lirripert~ A2angani~ <br />Nicholas O~Neill~ Porter. Thereupon the resolution was read the second aryl <br />third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as <br />follows: Casters Christman, Limpert~ Mangani, Nicholas, O~h'eill, Porter. <br />Ordinance No, 61..54 was introduced by Mr. Christman. An ordinance authorizing and <br />directing the cancellation of special assessments on permanent parcel No. 231.x- <br />3-22 on LsBerne Drive: being an assessment for the preparation of detailed <br />plans and specifications for a sewerage system for the City of North Olmsted, axyd <br />declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr. Christxnan~ seconded by Mr. Caster <br />that the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be read immediately the <br />second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on s aid <br />motion was as follows: Casters Christman Limpert~ Mangani~ Nichola.s~ O~Neill~ <br />Porter, Thereupon the ordinance was read the second and third times and put upon <br />its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Caster, Christman <br />I,itr~pert, Mangani~ Nicholas OtI~'eill, Par ter. <br />
