<br />Mill Rd, north), Dover Rd., Canterbury Rd., north and south Barton Rd., Lorain
<br />Rd.(south side;- Charles to Barton), Ulalter Rd. was turned over to the Sidewalks
<br />and Safety Committees,
<br />Mr. Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. Porter, that Council approve the appointments
<br />by the Mayor of Messrs. Ra3ph Kelley and Don Ford to the Planning Commission.

<br />A request by the Safety Director for authority to advertise for bids on four
<br />(!t) 1961 Police Cars (3 trade-ins) delivery in January or February, 1961 was
<br />turned over to the Safety and Finance Committees.
<br />The request from the Board of Building Code Appeals for: Council's recommendations
<br />for approval a¢~d adoption of the proposed procedure for the City of North Olmsted
<br />Architectural Board of Review was tabled unti_1 the next regular meeting of Council.
<br />Mr. Limpert moved, seconded by Mr, Porter, that the solicitor be directed to
<br />prepare legislation with modification of the Legislative Committee-s report
<br />to preserve shade trees and to control disease in trees. ''Yeas't Caster, Christman,

<br />The Engineer reported that the Performance Bond for the Ohio Shores Subdivision
<br />has been posted,
<br />Mr. Porter moved, seconded by Mr. 0-Neill, that the City not file a defense of the
<br />appeal by the Library Board as recommended by the Solicitor. '-Yeas" Caster,
<br />Christman, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, 0-Neill, Porter.
<br />Mr. MacDonald appointed Messrs. O~Neill and Mangani to work on a special project
<br />with the Planning Commission.
<br />The Solicitor advised that die and the Mayor have agreed on the ~dalter H. Drane
<br />Co. to do the codefication of the ordinances.
<br />A special meeting of Council was set for November 29, 1960.
<br />Mr. 0-Neill advised of a meeting held with representatives of the Cleveland
<br />Transit System and the Transportation Committee and stated that CTS is making
<br />a survey of our Bus line-s schedule and will advise at a later date as to their
<br />suggestions for improving same.
<br />Mr, Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. Caster, that the Solicitor be directed to
<br />prepare a resolution of sympathy to Councilman Porter and family on the recent
<br />death of Mr, Porter-s mother. --Yeas" Casters Christman! Limpert, Mangani,
<br />Nicholas O'Neill.
<br />Mr. Limpert moved, seconded by Mr. 0-Neill~ that the Solicitor be directed to
<br />prepare a resolution of commendation for the outstanding services of Ms. Hinson
