JUNE 7, 1960 -PAGE ~t Ordinance No. 3©39 was introduced by Mr. Mangani. An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2988 and declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr. Mangana~ seconded by Mr. Christman that the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be read immediately the second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Caster, Christman, Limpert~ Mangani~ Nicholas, O'Neill Porter. Thereupon the ordinance was read the second&third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as followsz Caster, Christman Lampert, Mangani~ Nicholas O'Neill Porter. Mr. Mangani idoved, seconded by Mr. Poxier, that the Solicitor be directed to draw up legislation discharging the liability bond #90»~q1•-912 with Maryland Casualty Co. as Surety and Olmsted Colony Inc. as Principal. Mr. Porter moved seceaded by Mr.Chrastaaan~ that the Solicitor be directed to ~~~,~r draw up legislation authorizing the Service Director to advertise for bids for material needed in the Insect Control Program. Mr. Porter moved, seconded by Mr. Lampert, that the Solicitor be diredted to draw up legislation pertaining to the 2~ wage increase for the Police and Fire Departments and the increase from X5.00 to ~7.5~ for part-time firemen and policemen. Mrs. Nicholas moved seconded by Mr. Mangani~ that the Soliciiitor be directed to draw up legislation authorizing the Engineer and the Service Director to prepare plans for a Comfort Station in North Olmsted Park. Ms. Lampert moved, seconded by Mr. Mangani, that the Solicitor be directed to draw up legislation setting a X5.00 permit fee for Tree Surgery. O'Nei,<3.1 moved seconded by Mr. Mangani, that the Solicitor be directed to draw up legislaticn amending the rate ordinance for the increase in the Bus fares and also extending the franchise fora 3 year period. M.r• Kadylak~ Chairman of the Planning Commission requested that Council consider the possibility of obtaining land grants or money from Subdivisions. for new parks and playgrounds. This matter was turned aver to the Municipal Properties and Plats Committee for their consideration.
