<br />Mr. Christman, Streets, Sewers, Sidewalks and Ditches Committee, reported
<br />on their meeting of 13th in regards to the possibility of 8-6-8 concrete
<br />paving and stated that because the 8-6-8 paving is still unproved in this
<br />area the Ca~unittee recommerxis that no change be made in our paving specifications
<br />at this time. He also reported on their meeting with Mr. Crider of the
<br />School Board pertaining to the condition of the berm izi front of Butternut
<br />School.
<br />Mr. Caster requested that the petition for paving of Decker Road be checked
<br />before work is started as there seems to be a discrepency in signatures.
<br />Mr. O'Neill suggested that this matter be tabled until legal information could
<br />be obtained from the Solicitor.
<br />Mr. Caster, Utilities Comra:ittee, reported that the Commmittee is waiting for a
<br />report from Cleveland F~.ectri.c Illuminating on the survey for street lights
<br />on a member of streets and that they will present their recommendations when
<br />all the surveys are completed.
<br />Mr. Liarpert, Legislative Comrai.ttee, stated that the Committee is looking into
<br />the matter pertains ~ to a pex~it to erect a fence and also curb cutting on
<br />Lorain &1. and that they expect to have their recommendations by the next
<br />meeting of Council.
<br />Mr. Mangani reported on the Committee Meeting of Council as a whole with
<br />representatives of Empire Spring Co., the Planning Commissions Regional
<br />Planning Commission and other interested parties.
<br />Mr. Caster moved, seconded by Mr. O'Neill, that the Council extend their
<br />official's welcome to light industry and to the Empire Spring Co. "Yeasn

<br />Ordinance No. 3028 was introduced by Mr. Caster. An owe appropriating
<br />X3800.00 from the permanent improvement fund and declaring an emergency. It
<br />was moved by Nr. Caster, seconded by Mr. Christman, that the statutory rule
<br />be suspended and the ordinance be read i~mnediately the second and third times
<br />and put on ite passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows:
<br />Caster, Christman, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O~Neill, Porter. Thereupon the
<br />ordinance was read the second and third times and put upon its passage and
<br />the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Caster, Christman, Linipert, Mangani,
<br />Nicholas, O~Neill, Porter.
<br />Resolution No. 3029 was introduced by Mr. Mangani. A resolution accepting
<br />the plat of Sherxood Estates subdivision for recording purposes on],y~, and,
<br />declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr. Mangani, seconded by Mr. Porter,
<br />that the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read immediately
<br />the second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on
<br />said motion was as follows: Caster, Christman, Limpert, Mangani., O'Neill,
<br />Porter. " Nay"ldicholas. Thereupon the resolution was read the second acid
<br />third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was

<br />Mr. Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. Porter, that the Solicitor be directed to
<br />draw up legislation accepting Candelite Subdivision for recording purposes only,
<br />based on the recommendations of the Planning Comtai.ssion in their minutes of

<br />IrLr. O'Neill moved, seconded by Mr. Maugani, that the Board of Control have the
<br />iD.eveland ~].ectric Illuminating Co. install a K4A transformer at the City Park
