<br />Ordinance No. 3~8 was introduced by Mr. Porter. An ordinance amending Section
<br />1 of ordinance 2751, enacted October 7, 1958, amending Section 1 of ordinance
<br />720, enacted dune 3, 19~7.~ entitled, an ordinance restricting traffic on
<br />designated streets 3.n the village, and declaring an emergency. It was moved
<br />by Mr. Porter, seconded by Mr. Mangani, that the statutory rule be suspended
<br />and the ordinance be read immediately the second and third times and put on
<br />its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Caster,
<br />Christman, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, OtNeill, Porter. Thereupon, the
<br />ordinance was read the second and third times and put upon its passage a~ld: the
<br />affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Caster, Christman, Limpert, Mangani,
<br />l~icholas, OtNeill, Porter.
<br />Mr. Oviatt stated that he had not prepared legislation for joining the
<br />Regional Planning Commission as yet because of procedures set up by them
<br />would give the Planning Commission of North Olmsted control now held by the
<br />Council. He is to attend the r:eeting of the Planning Commission on Wednesday,
<br />March 16th and expects this matter to be cleared up then.
<br />Mr. Christman moved, seconded by Mr. Porter that the Solicitor be directed
<br />to prepare legislation authorizing the Engineer to draw up plans and specifications
<br />for the water main on Brookpark Extension. NYeas„ Caster, Christman, Limpert,
<br />Mangani, Nicholas, OtNeill, Porter.
<br />Mr. Mangani moved, seconded by Mrs. Nicholas, that the Solicitor be directed
<br />to prepare legislation pertaining to the rezoning of Lorain Road • north and
<br />south sides -from Bailey Road to Columbia Road from multiple residence to
<br />retail business and Eros: Ranchview west to the existing business district
<br />from multiple.; residence to retail business. „Yeas Caster, Christman, Limpert,
<br />Mangani, Nicholas, O~Neill, Porter.
<br />Mr. Caster recommended that the Planning Commission take into consideration
<br />the possibility of developers~satting aside land for playgraunds when developments
<br />are planned.
