<br />Mr. MacDonald reported that a meeting was held March 10th to look
<br />over the plans for the sewerage treatment plant. `,corking plans
<br />for Zones 1, 2, and 3 will be ready for the first meeting in April.
<br />Also discussed was the storm water condition in the Claque road area.
<br />The Engineer had made a survey of costs and committee recommended
<br />Countil's action to approve the expenditure of X14,000 from the budget
<br />to proceed with the plan for the improvement to correct the flooding
<br />conditions. ***
<br />Mr. 2~3acDonald also reported relative to Garden City. The program
<br />was broken down into four ditch projects, A., B., C., and D., A.,
<br />being tree major ditch covering about a little more than half of the
<br />entire project. The first phase would cost approximately $6,300.00.
<br />l~Te could not do this all at once, but we can go into the expenditure
<br />of treat amount and in succeeding years <:orrect it for future develop-
<br />ment. The Engineer stated, in case of extreme rainfall, he felt a
<br />letter should be directed to ~Testlake to take care of their side of
<br />the line, and that we go ahead East and ~dest across ~~ellesly, Broxbourne
<br />and ;~7hitehaven, and recorr!rr~ended Council consider this expenditure. ***
<br />Resolution No. 2822 was introduced by Mr. O'Neill. A resolution
<br />approving the appointment of William McCrone, Actin~s Assistant Solicitor
<br />effective March 17th, 1959, and declaring an emergency. It was moved
<br />by Mr. O'Neill, seconded by Mr. MacDonald, that the statutory rule be
<br />suspended and the resolution be read immediately the second and third
<br />times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was
<br />as follows: Hinkel, Hixson, Kramer, PacDonald, O'Neill, Wilson. There-
<br />upon, the resolution was read the second and third times and put on its
<br />passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Hinkel,
<br />Hixson, Y~ramer, MacDonald, G'Neill, rvilson.
<br />The Solicitor advised the Cleveland ~~rater Department now requires an
<br />easement for the installation of water lines.
<br />Resolution No. 2823 was introduced by I~ir. P'tacDonald. A resolution
<br />accepting the easement for the installation and maintenance of a water
<br />main in proposed Evergreen Drive, Douglas Drive, Wllet Road and Alden
<br />Drive in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. It
<br />was moved by Mr. MacDonald, seconded by Mr. O'Neill, that the statutory
<br />rule be suspended and the resolution be read immediately the second
<br />and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said
<br />motion was as follows: Hinkel, f3ixson, Kramer, MacDonald, O'Neill,
<br />thlilson. Thereupon, ti2e resolution was :read tie second and third times

<br />Resolution No. 2825 was introduced by Air. O'Neill. A resolution in
<br />memory of Irwin A. Bidwell, Beloved husband of Ellen Bidwell and
<br />father of Barbara, Jane and Billie, Superintendent of Maintenance
<br />for tree North Olmsted Municipal Coach Line, who passed away March 16,,
<br />1959• It was moved by Mr. O'Neill, seconded by r"r. Kramer, acrd ~f-
