<br />Resolution No. 2818 was introduced by Dr. Hixson. A resolution
<br />approving the plans of ureat TJorthern Shopping dart, Inc., submitted
<br />for the enlargement of the existing package sewerage treatment plant,
<br />and declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr. Hixson, seconded by
<br />Mr. Kramer, that the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be
<br />read immediately the second and third times and put on ils passage.
<br />The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: ~4inkel, Hixson,
<br />Kramer, Lynch, O'Neill, Wilson. Thereupon, the resolution was read
<br />the second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative

<br />Ordinance No. 2819 was read by the Clerk. An ordinance amending Section
<br />1 of Ordinance No. 2516 entitled, "An ordinance to determine vacation
<br />periods for officers and reg~a.la.r merribers of the Fire Department, enacted
<br />January 16, 1957, as amended by Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2634 enacted
<br />February 4, 1958, and declaring an emergency.
<br />The P~layor requested the Clerk read the second last paragraph in regards
<br />to the Pension Relief Fund, and stated that in regards to this particular
<br />ordinance, when negotiating with. the Police and Fire Departments, the
<br />intent was for full time members of the departments, and only such. Mr.
<br />Barnes also reiterated the intent of the Committee that their vacation
<br />time start as of the date of their appointment as full time members.
<br />lliscussion ensued and the ordinance was referred to the Finance Committee
<br />for further study.
<br />It was moved by Mr. ~~rilson, seconded by Mrs. ~;inkel, ordinance No. 2811,
<br />an ordinance amending the salary ordinance for members of the Police and
<br />Fire Departments, be repealed. "Yeas" Kinkel, Hixson, Kramer, Lynch,

<br />Ordinance 2811, being an Ordinance amending Sections 1 and 2 of Ordinance
<br />2214 entitled, "An ordinance determining salaries, wages and bonds of
<br />appointed officials and employees of the Oity of North Clmsted", as
<br />amended by Ordinance 2496, enacted June 4, 195/, and Crdinance 2533,
<br />enacted August 20, 195%, and declaring an emergency. It was moved by
<br />Per. ~Jilson, seconded by Mr. O'T1ei11, that the statutory rule be suspended
<br />and the ordinance be read immediately the second and third times and put
<br />upon its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows:

<br />Crdinance No. 2821 was introduced by Mr. i~lilson. An ordinance amending
<br />Sections 1 and 2 of Ordinance 2603, enacted December 17, 1957, amending
<br />Sections I and 2 of Ordinance 2214 entitled "An ordinance determining
<br />salaries, wages and bonds of appointed officials a.nd employees of the
<br />City of North Olmsted" as amended by Grdinance 2496, enacted June 4, 195'7,
<br />and Ordinance 2533, enacted August 20, 1.957, a.nd declaring an emergency.
<br />It was moved by Mr. 4lilson, seconded by Air. O'1V'eill, that the statutory
<br />rule be suspended and th.e or d Hance be read immediately the second and
<br />third times and put upon its passage. The affirmative vote on said
<br />motion was as follows: Hinkel, Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, O'Neill, ?Jilson.

<br />It was moved by P.r. ~dilson, seconded by Mr. O'Neill, tb.e Service Director
<br />write to Squire, Sanders and Dempsey to get an opinion from them in
<br />regards to financing the sewer program beyond a twenty year period.
