<br />Mr. Hinkel reported the Volunteer Firemen Depend®nts Fund Board had met
<br />and voted to have a fifth man, and Mr. Fred Hatton was elected to this
<br />position. They discussed the insurance benefits for volunteer firemen,
<br />regarding total and permanent disability, and are setting up records
<br />and complete list of members for the State Auditor.
<br />Mr. MacDonald reported he had called Floyd Browne & Associates on February
<br />7th and they will meet with Council on Thursday, February 20th. Mr.
<br />Hixson attended the meeting regarding the County Wide Sewer Program,
<br />and could not see arty difference between the system outlined by Floyd
<br />Browne & Associates and the County Wide system.
<br />A communication was read requesting dedication of Subdivisions 3 and
<br />4, Westchester Estates. Work to be completed in Subdivision No. 3,
<br />in the amount of X2700.00, has not been accomplished, but no bond
<br />was posted. Subdivision No. 4 has a bond, in the amount of X10,000.00,
<br />repairs costing approximately X2,$00.00.
<br />Mr. Hazelton stated that at the request of the Service Director, he would
<br />like to appoint a committee for the consideration of building a new
<br />comfort station, or stations, in North Olmsted Park. The committee was
<br />appointed as follows: Mr. Hinkel, Chairman; Mrs. Lynch and Mx. Kramer.
<br />A communication was read from Mrs. Woodman of thanks to the memory of
<br />Mr. Guy Hansel.
<br />Ordinance No. 2638 was introduced by Mr. Hinkel. An ordinance to make
<br />appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City
<br />of North Olmsted, Ohio, during the fiscal year ending December 31, 1958.
<br />It was moved by Mr. Hinkel, seconded by Mr. Kramer, that the statutory
<br />rule be suspended and the ordinance be read immediately the second and
<br />third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said
<br />motion was as follows: Hinkel, Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, O'Neill,
<br />Wilson. Thereupon, the ordinance was read the second and third times and
<br />put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows:

<br />Resolution No. 2639 was introducsd by Mr. Hinkel. A resolution appointing
<br />Ernest J. Gundy Building Commissioner of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio,
<br />and declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr. Hinkel, seconded by Mr.
<br />MacDonald that the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read
<br />immediately the second and third times and put on its passage. The af-
<br />firmative vote on said motion was as follows: Hinkel, Hixson, Kramer,
<br />Lynch, MacDonald, O'Neill, Wilson. Thereupon, the resolution was read the
<br />second and third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote

<br />Resolution No. 2640 was introduced by Mr. Kramer. A resolution authorizing
<br />the Safety Director to enter into a contract with the County Commissioners
<br />for detention of city prisoners in Cuyahoga County Jail, and declaring
<br />an emergency. It was moved by Mr. Kramer, seconded by Mr. MacDonald that
<br />the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read immediately the
<br />second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on
<br />said motion was as follows: Hinkel, Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald,
<br />O'Neill, Wilson. Thereupon, the resolution was read the second and third
