<br />Resolution No. 26!{1 was introduced by Mr. Hinkel. A resolution com-
<br />mending Sergeant Hird, Sergeant Adams and Patrolman Bierman of the
<br />Police Department for outstanding police work. It was moved by Mr.
<br />Hinkel, seconded by Mr. O'Neill that the resolution be adopted as read.
<br />"Yeas" Hinkel, Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, O'Neill, Wilson.
<br />The final costs of material and labor for the improvement of Fitch Road
<br />by the installation of sidewalks is 3.0151 per foot, y.$ discount for
<br />cash payment. After passage of the assessing ordinance, the owner of
<br />the property has thirty days after advertisement of the assessing ordinance
<br />in which to pay cash for the improvement. It was moved by Mr. Kramer,
<br />seconded by Mr. MacDonald that the Service Director be authorized to
<br />advertise for bids on slag. "Yeas" Hinkel, Hixson, Kramer, Lynch,
<br />MacDonald, O'Neill, Wilson.
<br />Resolution No. 261F2 was introduced by Mr. MacDonald. A resolution
<br />requesting the use of the County Drag Line. It was moved by Mr.
<br />MacDonald, seconded by Mr. Wilson that the statutory rule be suspended
<br />and the resolution be read immediately the second and third times and
<br />put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows:
<br />Hinkel, Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, O'Neill, Wilson. Thereupon,
<br />the resolution was read the second and third times and put upon its
<br />passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Hinkel, Hixson,
<br />Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, O'Neill, Wilson.
<br />It was moved by Mr. Hinkel, seconded by Mr. O'Neill, the Service Director
<br />be authorized to advertise for bids for Gasoline, Diesel ,.Fuel and
<br />Lubricating Oil. "Yeas" Hinkel, Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, O'Neill,
<br />Wilson.
<br />Regarding Old Business, Mr. Wilson reported the Rules Committee, to set
<br />up rules for the Council, will have these for the next meeting; and
<br />Mr. Hinkel reported the street departanent was given grades to get rid
<br />of the water at Burns Road and Butternut Ridge Road.
<br />The meeting adjourned to the ca11 of the Clerk at 9:15 P.M.
