<br />Resolution No. 2556 was introduced by Mr. MacDonald. A resolution
<br />transferring funds for payment of test borings, engineering and
<br />inspection in accordance with the F'.Loyd G. Brown survey for sewage for
<br />the City of North O7.msted, Ohio. It was moved by Mr. MacDonald, seconded
<br />by Mr. Baker, that the statutory rule be suspended, and the resolution
<br />be read immediately the second and third times and gut on its passage.
<br />The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Baker, Crider,
<br />Decker, Kramer, MacDonald, Neubauer, Schwenk. Thereupon the resolution
<br />was read the second and third times and put upon its passage and the
<br />affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Baker, Crider, Decker, Kramer,
<br />MacDonald, Neubauer, Schwenk.
<br />Resolution No. 255? was introduced by Mr. Kramer. A resolution traps=
<br />ferring approriations. It was paved by Mr. Kramer, seconded by Mr. Baker,
<br />that the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read immediately
<br />the second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote
<br />on said motion was as follows: Baker, Crider, Decker, Kramer, MacDonald,
<br />Neubauer, Stshxenk. Thereupon the resolution was read the second and
<br />third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon
<br />was as follows: Baker, Crider, Decker, Kramer, MacDonald, Neubauer,
<br />Schwenk.
<br />The Heyor appointed Robert L. Decker, iresident of Council. It was
<br />moved ~y Mr. Kramer, seconded by Mr. Schwenk that the appointment be

<br />It was moved by Mr. Crider, seconded by M~• Kramer that Geo. H. Porter ITT
<br />be nominated as Councilman of Ward I. eY'easp Baker, Crider, Kramer,
<br />MacDonald, Neubauer, Schwenk.
<br />Mr. Baker stated that Ed Devine~s name would be on the ballot in Ward I
<br />in the November election, but i.naenutch as he has dust been appointed
<br />Regional Manager of the Greyhound Linea ii1 Pittsburgh, he would be unable
<br />to accept the position. * For a three month period.
<br />Tt was moved by Mr. Baker, Seeoncted by Mr. Schwenk that nominations be
<br />closed and tlw~ Clerk cast a unanimous ballot for Mr. Porter. "Yearn
<br />Baker, Crider, Kramer, MacDonald, Neubauer, Schwenk.
<br />Mr. Kitson, Law Director, administered the oath of office as President
<br />of Council to Mr. Decker.
<br />Mr. Crider nominated Mr. Neubauer for President of Council Pro tem.
<br />Mr. Baker nominated Mr. Schwenk. It was moved by Mr. MacDonald,
<br />seconded by Mr. Baker that nominations be closed. "Yearn Baker, Crider,
<br />Kramer, MacDonald, Neubauer, Schwenk. A written ballot was taket,giving
<br />Ralph G. Neubauer Four (!:) votes and Mr. G. Herbert Schwenk, two (2)
<br />votes.
<br />The Building Comaoi.ssioner~s report showed permits in the amount of
<br />~891~•35 and estimated construction value ~672,375.0o for the month of
<br />August.
