BHRVICE DIR[CTOR , G. <br />To The Mayor and Council <br />City of North Olmsted <br />North 0].msted, Ohio <br />Gentlemen; <br />It is with deep regret that I tender my resignation as President <br />of Council, due to the necessity of moving out of the City of <br />North Olmsted to Solon, Ohio. The reason for the move, as many <br />of you may already know, is because our plant has recently moved <br />to Solon and the travel distance to and from work became far to <br />great. <br />I shall never forget the fond memories and the many wonderful <br />experiences in my ten years service, both on the Council and as <br />your Council President. I shall cherish these memories for the <br />rest of my life. Money could never buy the experiences and <br />education through mY years of service on your Council. The satis- <br />faction that one gets from achieving the manly goals which Council <br />sets over the years is worth many times more than the financial <br />remuneration. <br />I can truthfully say that over the years, each new Council that <br />I had the pleasure of working with, we were able to see more and <br />more things accomplished each year. The climax of many years work <br />by many Councils is now finally becoming a reality. This reality <br />is the start of the over-all sewer plan which will finally be <br />submitted to Council as a result of the forceful thinking of the <br />present Council. I sincerely trust you will carry this much <br />needed improvement to a conclusion, and I hope I can be present <br />the day the new sewage plant is dedicated and put into operation. <br />In conclusion, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for <br />the excellent cooperation which I have received from Mayor Lewis <br />and the Council, together with all members of the Official family <br />of North Olmsted. I sincerely trust that the residents of North <br /> <br />
