JULY 16, 1957 - PAGE 3. <br />Thereupon, the Ordinance ~~:as read the second and third times and put upon its <br />passage and the affirmat~_ve vote thereon was as follows: Baker, Crider, Dec~:er, <br />Kramer, T~Ia.cDonald, Neubauer, Schwenk. <br />Mr. Decker reported that he conferred with I~Lilari Per~,~ln a,nd stated it was <br />a faction within a faction that some are happy about liPht industry and some <br />are against it. A motion was made by T•ir. Baker, seconded by i~ir. Sch~renk that <br />the Clerk file a petition for the referendum. "Yeas" Baker, Crider, Decker, <br />Kramer, MacDonald, Neubauer, Schwenk. <br />Lee McCool, D. H. Goede and George Charters, by letter, requested that their <br />names be removed from the petition for a storm sewer on MacKenzie Road. <br />The Engineer reported that the estimated cost of paving Coe Avenue from Elm <br />Road northerly to the northerly line of Home Gardens Allotment with macadam. <br />would be X6,250.00, or X12.716 per ft. <br />A communication was read from Mr. Phillip r~nglish in regards to 6Jestchester <br />Estates requesting that the streets be dedicated, and stating that he will <br />make repairs to the holes and did not feel that they should completely re- <br />surface the last two sections. <br />Mr. Baumgardner stated he would acknowledge this letter and request that i~r. <br />English meet with the Council as a whole on July 25th. <br />NIr. Hinkle wanted to know about the contractors responsibility for crocking <br />in the ditch on the East side of Charles Avenue. Mr. Crider stated he woLLld <br />look into the matter. <br />Mr. Kitson reported he had notified Suburbanite Homes to proceed tivith the <br />installation of storm sewer and other improvements. <br />The Building Commissioner's report for the month of June showed permits <br />in the amount of X2,503.40, estimated construction value ~a~4,324,825.00. <br />The meeting adjourned to the call of the Clerk. <br />k________. .,,e <br />/ ~`. 1 <br />E. .Christman, C E.
