Wilson, Safety Direc.tor, <br />George Schaaf, Law Director; Alex Kanareff„ Enqineer; William Gerlach, Finance Director, <br />and Louise Ha119 Clerk, <br />The minutes of the meeting of May 15, 1962 were: approved as correctedo <br />The Mayor made the following proclamations, <br />ALI. SCOUTS DAY - June 9, 1962 <br />UNITED NATIONS DAY - October 24, 1962 <br />The Mayor advised that the ALL SCOUTS DAY Program will start at 8:00 A.M. and requested <br />that everyone participating in the program to be on tsme and also requested the Clerk <br />to send copies of the Program to the members ot' Councilo <br />The Safety Director advised that a Mock Counci'l Meeting would be held at 11000 A.M. <br />on ALL SCOUTS DAY, Mr> Mangani volunteered to be in charge of the Mock Council Meeting <br />in Mr. MacDonald's absencea <br />The Service Director presented the plans for the Esther Ave, sewer to the Public <br />Development and Service Committee and requesteci approval of the plans by Council, <br />The Engineer advised that Mr. Engoglia had contacted h i m and requested the status <br />of the bill presented by him for payment for construction of a storm sewero <br />Mr. Christman advised that the Clerk was compiling a file on the above matter to be <br />reviewed by the Law Director before a deciseon is madeo <br />The Engineer presented plans for Manning Campbell Subdivision No. 8 to the City Planning <br />Commi ttee for thei r i nformati on. <br />The Engi neer i ntroduced Mr< Car°1 Acadre ana who wi 1 1 assume the duti es of the Engi neer <br />while Mr. Kanareff is out of towrao <br />The Clerk read the following communicationsa <br />lo Letter of resigraation from Mrs. Lillian Nicholas effective June 15,1962 <br />2> Letter pertaining to the po°oposed zoning for Industrial use from <br />L. F. Melick, 31067 Lorasn Rda <br />3. Anoraymous letter pertaining to the proposed Industrial Zoned area4 <br />Many comments weee made by residents in attendance about the prpposed Zoning Ordinance and <br />Zoning Mapo <br />Mrs. Nicholas moved, seconded by Mro Lempes°t9 that the Law Director be directed to <br />prepare legislation setting forth the specific:ations foe° driveway aprons in new <br />devetopments as a minimum 8 fto wide plaira cooicrete drive apron with 4 ft. radius at <br />pavement; thickness 5 inch minimum and the spe:cifications for existing dedicated <br />streets as (a) where the street is concrete, t:hen the same requirement as in New <br />
