NOVEMBER 7, 1962 - PAGE 2 <br />Mr. Van Zandt, chairman af the Legis.lat±ve Commitee, reported ori the meeting nf <br />the Legislative Committee ah Navember 1, 162 and advir;ed that the committee recommends <br />an increase +n new buiiding permit fees of *_hree times ihe present raties. <br />Mr. Christman advised that the Pub1ic Development Comrnittee recammends approval oF <br />the change in sewer, plans to extend the sariitary sewer on Dover Road, across Butternut <br />Riage -Road to the schooi property. <br />Mr. Christman requested the Law Uirector t:o review the easements for Country Ciub <br />Blvd. before further action is taken> <br />Mra Christman advised that the Public Development Commlttee recommends the foilowing: <br />l. Approval of the improvement plans for sanitary sewer <br />on the remainder of Revere Drive and the water main, <br />2. Holding in abeyance the dedic:ation of West Park Dr. <br />until the sidewalks are instalted and other matters <br />taken care of that the Servic.e Director feels should <br />be completed. <br />3. Approvai of the change in sewer construction at the <br />corner of Porter and Lorain Roads as recommended by <br />the Service Director. <br />4. Holding in abeyance the ded,ication of Stoneybrook Subdivision <br />until sidewalks are constructed. <br />Mr. Christman advised that the Committee isstudying the request made by Mr. S.S. <br />Friedman in behalf of the Michael M. Varady Subidivision for a connection cost for <br />the fair share of the use of storm sewerbonstructed by the developere. <br />The Law Director advised that he met with Mra Gates of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey <br />and Mr. Kuhn of F14yd Brown and Associates, Ltdo in reference to the Council's <br />requesr that he investigate the possibitity of proceeding with the southwest <br />interceptor sanitary sewer. The Law Directur stated that Mr. Gates ddvised that the <br />City wduld have to contact Nuveen and Company in Chicago and request them to contact <br />the bondholders in order to obtain consent of 2/3 of the bondholders to proceed <br />with further sanitary sewer work, <br />Mr. Christman stated that he felt that this should be studied further before any <br />decision is made. <br />Resolution No. 62-153 was given its third and final readfng. A resolution accepting the <br />water main easement in proposed Fairlawn Drive and Woodmere Drive in Deerfield <br />Subdivision No. 2. It was moved by Mr. Christman, seconded by Mr. Caster, the resolution <br />be adopted as read. The affirmative vote tFiereon was as follows: Caster, Christman, <br />Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Van Zandt. <br />Resolution No. 62-156 was tabledo A re5olut.ion accepting for dedication Stoneybrook <br />Drive, West 233rd St. and Greenwood Lane in the Ohio Shores Construction Corporation`s <br />Stoneybrook Estates Subdivision, and declaring an emergenGy. <br />Resolution No. 62-165 was given its third and final reading. A resolution approving <br />for record purposes only Deerfield Subidivision No. 2 as proposed, and declaring an <br />emergencye 1t was moved by Mr> Mangani, seconded by Mr. Christman, the resolution <br />be adopted as read. The affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Caster, Christman, <br />Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Van Zandto <br />? . _.
