Browne and Assnciates, Ltd, from the <br />Servsee Director requesting an immediate investigation <br />be made to determine the cause of flooding and backing up <br />of san9tary sewers that occurred on November 9th and lOth, <br />1962, <br />Mr. T.Stromp, 23838 Le Bern, appeared before Council as spokesman for residents <br />on Le Bern to complain about flooding conditions in the area due to the development <br />of Vincent Dreve. <br />Mr. Christman adv9sed the residents of Le Bern that the Building Commissioner <br />is working on thes prpblem and feels that the flooding conditions can be <br />rectifiedo <br />A number of resadents from Gessner, Rosita Lane, and Maria Lane appeared before <br />Council to complain about the back-up of sanitary sewer on November 9th and lOth <br />and requested that an immediate investiciation be made to determine the cause and <br />that steps be taken to rectify this condition. <br />TMe residents were advised by Council, Service Director and the Engineer that <br />an investigation was being made by the City and that Floyd Browne and Associates <br />would also make an investigation and ste:ps will be taken so that this will not <br />happen againo. Floyd Browne and Associaltes also are to be requested to make <br />a progress report to be submitted at the next and subsequent Council mtgs. until this <br />Mr. A.F. Germ, 23406 Alexander Rd., requested action be taken to rectify t e is clearec <br />flooding condition on his property and was edvised that the Engineer would uP• <br />contact the developer and work this prok>1em out. <br />Mr. Limpert, Chairman of the Safety Committee, advised that his Committee and the <br />Public Development and Service Committee; discussed the driveway from the parking <br />lot of St. Richards and recommended thai: nothing be done to change this at the <br />present tsme other than to prohibit parking on Whitethorn during certain hours <br />and that the Committees well make a furi:her study of this at a later date. <br />Mr. Caster moved, seconded by Mr. Leoni3rd, that the Law Director be directed <br />to prepare legislataon to increase the salary of the Prosecuting Attorney <br />$25.00 a month. "Yeaa" Caster, Christm<an, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, O+Neill, <br />Van Zandt, <br />The Engineer presented a plara for the Alexander culvert to the Public Development <br />and Service Committee for their review. <br />The Engineer advised that the City had !been able to purchase the necessary <br />property at the corner of Great Northern Blvd. and Kennedy Ridge and submitted <br />the original plans egaen for the improvement of the intersection of these two <br />streets. <br />The Engineer presented the plat for Woodview Subdivision No. 1 to the City <br />Planning Committee, <br />Resolution No. 62-182 was given its third and final reading. A resolution <br />accepting the water main easement in Michael Avenue and in Margo Drive in the <br />Michael Varady Subdivision. It was moved by Mr. Christman, seconded by Mr. <br />Caster, the resolution be adopted as read. The affirmative vote thereon was <br />as followso Caster, Ghristman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Van Zandt. <br />
