JANUARY 15, 1963 - PAGE 2 .?.?= Mr. Christman moved, seconded by Mr. 0'Neill, that this reque5t be put in the hands of the Public Development and Service Committee until more information is forthcoming from the City Engineer. "Yeas" Caster, Christman, Leonard, Clmpert, 0'NeiA,Van Zandt. Mr. J. Watker, 24176 Roslta Lane, requested information as to the status of obtaining a stand-by generator for the lift station at LeBern and Clague. Mr. Caster advised that the Finance Committee: had not reached a definite decision on this matter as yet. Mr. H. Williams, 24299 Rosita Lane, inquired why faster action hasn't been taken mn correcting the installation of the sanitar•y sewer in his area so that the back- up of sewage will not occur again as it did cin November 10, 1962. Mr. Christman advised that most of the correc:tive measures have been taken and that steps will be taken to complete the rest: as soon as weather conditions permit. After considerable discussion as to who is to blame for the situation on November 10, 1962 Mr. O'Neill suggested that the President of Council or Mayor appoint a committee to review plans for future sewer iristallations and to review any problins that may arise from now on? The Mayor appointed the following people to serve with him qn 5ewer Advisiory Committee: Mr. Leonard, Mr. 0'Neill, Mr. BarnE:s, Mr. Christman Mr. Kanareff. Mr. O'Neill advised that there will be a Transportation Committee MeeI ng on Friday, January 18, 1963 at 8:00 P.M. Mr. Van Zandt advised that the commt4nication received from the Chairman of the , Zoning Board of Appeals is being re4iewed by the Legislative Committee. Mr. Caster reported for the City Planning Committee in the absence of Mr. Mangani and advised that the committee recommends approval for record purposes the plat of Walter-Maple Subdivision and that the plat of Tree Lane Subdivision No. 2 be returned to the City Engineer for suggested changes. Mr. Christman reported on the meeting of the Public Development and Service Committee with Mr. Barnes and Mr. Loomis at which time they reviewed the pictures of the sewer and find that the sewers are of sound construction. Mr. Christman advised that the Committee recommends the storm sewer survey of Lorain Rd. be made if this survey is also recommended by the Finance Committee. Mr. Christman advised that the Committee is awaiting a recommendation from Floyd Browne and Associates, Ltd. on the generator for the lift station. Mr. Christman advised that the Committee recommends the acceptance of Woodview Subdivision No. 1 with the addition that street signs be erected and fire hydrants be painted in accordance with specifications of the Service Director. Mr. Christman moved, seconded by Mr. Limpert., that the Clerk be directed to communicate with the City of Westlake requesting approval for the removal of two 42" pipes in a ditch on Clague Road which serves as a culvert to proposed Robinson Drive which has been vacated.
