An ordinarice assessing the cost anci <br />expense of improving Canterbury Road in the City of North Olmsted by the construction of <br />sidewalks therein, repealing Ordinance No. 62:-198, and declaring an emergency. It was <br />move,d by Mr. Christman, seconded by Mr. Mangani, that the statutory rule be suspended and <br />the ordiraance be read immediatety the second and third times and put on its passage. <br />The affirmative vote on said motion was as fcillows: Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, <br />0'Neill, Van Zandt. Thereupon the ordinance was read the second and third times and put <br />upon its passage and the affirmative vote the:reon was as follows: Christrnan, Leonard, <br />Limpert, Mangani, O`Neili, Van Zandt. <br />Ordinance No. 63-112 was introduced by Mr. Chiristman. An ordinance authorizing the <br />employment of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, Munic(pal Attorneys, as special counsel to <br />assist the City Solicitor in connection with the acquisition of a right of way for a <br />storm sewer on Alexander Road between the prciperty of Dan George, Jr., and Muriel <br />G. Grubaugh, and declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr. Christman, seconded by Mr. <br />Mangani, that the statutory rule be suspendecl and the ordinance be read imrnediateiy <br />the second and thirei times and put on it.s pas,sage. A resolution accepting the water main easement in proposed Amesbury Drive, <br />Clayton Drive, Delmere Drive and Beaumont Drive in Deerfield Estates, Inc. Rose Tree <br />Subdivision No. to <br />Resolution No. 63-114 was introduced by Mr. l.eonard. A resolution aut.horizing the <br />Service Director to have the City Engineer pr•epare plans, profiles, specifications <br />and cost estimates for the installation of a viater main in North Park Drive between <br />Porter Road on the east to a point approximat:ely 240 feet west of East Park Drive, <br />and declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr. Leonard, seconded by Mr. Limpert, <br />that the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read immediately the <br />second and third times and put on its passaqe. The affirmative vote on said <br />motion was as followso Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, 0'Neill, Van Zandt. <br />T'hereupon the resolution was read the second and third times and put upon its passage <br />and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Christman, Leonar'd, Limpert, Mangani, <br />0'Neill, Van Zandt. <br />Mro Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. Limpert, i:o approve the Planning Commission 's <br />recommendation as follows: To locate the proposed street from Lorain Road to Brookpark <br />Road on the easterly side of the Marjac, Inc.. property. One half af the street would be <br />on Marjac, Inc., property and the other half of the street would be located on the <br />westerly side of the Columbia Land, Inc. Subdivision and the westerly side of the Mitcheil <br />commercial property. Also9 a 60100" easement: shall be reserved for street purposes through <br />the Marjac9 Inc. property. The dedication for street purposes would be located <br />opposite sublots No. 70 and 60 in the Columbiia Land, Inc. Subdivisiono "yeas" Christman, <br />Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, 0'Neill, Van Zandit. <br />Mr. Leonard moved, seconded by Mr. 0'Neill, ithat the President of Council request the <br />Finance Committee to consider approving a monthl-y expense account for the Mayor or making <br />available a City vehicle for his use.
