<br />Present were Paul J. Gareauw Mayor; Bruce MacDonald, Presidentof Council; Henry
<br />Caster, Raiph Christman, James Leonard, Dewey Limpert, A. L. Mangani, Norman
<br />Van Zandt.
<br />Also present were L. Barnes, Service Director; George Schaaf, Law Director; James
<br />T. Wiison, Safety Director; Alex Kanareff, Engineer, and Louise Hall, Clerk.
<br />Absent: Francis J. 0'Neill, William Gerlach, Finance Directar.
<br />Mr. Christman reported that the Public Service and Development Committee recommends
<br />approval of the improvement plans for Waido's Subdivision and the North Park
<br />•Estates Subdivision No. 1 improvement plans/',%)so approval of the resolution
<br />of necessity for the installation of a water tine in North Park Drive. The
<br />Cammittee also recommends preparation of legislation authorizing plans and

<br />The Mayor requested that a cqpy of Che impravement p)ans be accompanied with the
<br />approving legislation from nvw on. Mr. Chri<.stman suggested that the Planning Cpmmission
<br />send a copy of the Impnovemernt Pi,sns to the Fire Chief as well,
<br />Resolution No. 63-164 was introduced by Mr. Christman. A resolution accepting
<br />the improvement plans for waldo's Subdivision, and deciering an emergency. It
<br />was moved by Mr. Christman, seconded by Mr. Mangani, that the statutory rule be
<br />suspended and the reso 1 ut i on Oe read i rraned i ate 1 y the second and th i rd t i mes
<br />and put on its passage. The affirmative yote on said mpxion was as follows: Cester,
<br />Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Van Zandt. Thereupon the resolution was
<br />read the second and third times and put on its passage and the affirmative vote
<br />thereon was as follaws: Caster, Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Van Zandt.
<br />ResolutiQn No. 63-165 wa5 introduced by Mr. Christman. A resolution acceptifig
<br />the improvement plans for North Park Estates Subdivisian No. l, end declaring
<br />an emergency. It was moved by Mr. Christman, seconded by Mr. Mangani, that thE
<br />statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read immediately the second
<br />and third times and put on iCS passdge. The affirmative vote on said motion was
<br />as follows: Caster, Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Man9ani, Van Zandt. 7hereupon
<br />the resolution was read the second and third time5 and put on its passage aMd
<br />the affirmative vote therean was as follows: Caster, Christman, Leonard, Limperfi,
<br />Mangani, Van Zandt.
<br />Resolution No. 63-166 was introduced by Mr. P1angan+. A resolution declaring
<br />certai n abutt i ng properti es on Galumbi a Ctnad to be i ra the unseveered secti on
<br />of the city and not subject to assessment foi- laterai sewers rsn Coiumbia Road
<br />or to sani tary sewer servi ce charges, and declara ng an emergency. 9 k wes moved
<br />by Flr. Mangani, s econtied by Mr. Caster, that the statutory rule be suspended and

<br />Resolution No. 63-167 was introduced by F1r. C:hristman. A resolution accepting
<br />the water main easement in prqposetl Waldo Drive in Waido`s Subdivision. Bt was
<br />moved by h4r. Christman, seconded by Mr. Caster, that thp statutory rule be suspended
<br />and the resolution be read immediately the second and third times and put on its
<br />on the condition that the developer obtain permission from property owners for off site
<br />improvement work/
