Mellinger representing Melbro, Inc, reque?z,red Goun;.w1 *_o consider their <br />rezoning request as approved by the Planning Commissaon at thPi.r meef+ng ot September <br />10, 1963. This matter was referred to the Ci ty Flannp ng Commit;ee tor t?ei r <br />recommendations. <br />Mr. 0'Neill, Chairman of the Transportation GommottPe, reporte?? on their meeting of <br />September 9th;and 16rh and recommended the following: <br />A 10 cent hourly wage increase for all Bus Drivers <br />4 weeks paid vaction for employees of 20 years or ionger <br />- City to pay insurance for atl Bus employees. <br />Rurclhase,.of '2inew 47 passenger buses andl 2 new 55 passenger buses. <br />Mr. Caster reported on the Finance Gommittee Meeting of 5eptember 10, 1963 and <br />-recommended that legislation be prepa-ed for new raGoo Equipment necessary for <br />the change-over to the narrow frequen-y band for the Police Department. <br />Mr. Caster advised that the Committee rFCcmmends 6ai t.re. Poi+c.e Statson addition <br />be included in next year§ budget: or ha???e?,, by rome othec meac?s rhe .Admdnfstration <br />may recommend. <br />The Fi nance Commi ttee recommends that the addli ti on of persorne'i tar the Pol i ce and <br />Fire Departments also be included i!n next yeaes budget and t!,at the addi±aon to the <br />Bus Garage as requested by the Servic? ?ire:ctor w*?I??e revoewed at- a later date. <br />Mr. Chri stman reported on the meeti ng ot t?ie Tri-Ci t.y Jrae nage Authari ty wi zh <br />representatives of Westlake, Bay Vil'age and North Olmsted on September 4, 1963 concerninc <br />work to be done on culverts that service Narth Olmstsd arad Westiake and that this <br />work could be done in 1-2 years and the c.osit to be borre equally by North Olmsted and <br />Westlake, This matter is to be discussed further ans: a report wili be made at a later <br />date. <br />?. . .,., .
