<br />Mr. Mangani advised that considerable work has been done on the High Rise Ordinance
<br />and that further meetings will be held.
<br />Mr. Van Zandt moved, seconded by Mr. Caster, that the Law Director be directed to
<br />prepare legislation amending Ordinance No. 63-75, Section E- Business and Industrial
<br />Building - increasing the initial fee to $100.00 and the fee for 100 sq. ft. be
<br />increased to $2.50. "Yeas" Caster, Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West, Van Zandt.
<br />Mr. Caster reported on the Budget Committee meeting held Dec. 21, 1963 to review whether or
<br />not the City should appeal the allocation of the Local Government Funds and advised that
<br />the Committee voted 3 to 1 not to appeal.
<br />The Mayor advised that he will contact the De:partment of Highways regarding the
<br />closing of the Fleharty access and the constr°uction of a new access at proposed
<br />Pin Oak and also the moving of the access to the Great Notthern Shopping Center
<br />as per the Department of Highways letter of [)ecember 27, 1963•
<br />Mr. Leonard moved for reconsideration of Mr. Christman's motion at the Special Meeting
<br />of December 30, 1963 reversing the Bpard of Zoning Appeals ruling on the application of
<br />Dimensions III, Inc. There being no second 1to this motion, the motion died.
<br />Ordinance No. 63-217 was referred to the Public Utilities Committee for review. Mr.
<br />Leonard advised that the Public Utilities Cornmittee would meet Friday, January 10, 1964
<br />at 7:00 P.M.
<br />Mr. Caster moved, seconded by Mr. Leonard, that Mr. Mangani serve as President Pro Tem
<br />of Council for the year 1964. "Yeas" Caster, Modgins, Leonard, Limpert, West,..Van Zandt.

<br />Mr. Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. West, that the Law Director be directed to prepare
<br />legislation authorizing the Service Director to advertise for the sale of 3 G.M.C. Buses,
<br />Nos. 112, 113 and 59• "Y.eas" Caster, Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West, Van tandt.
<br />Mr. Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. Van Zandt, that the Law Director be directed to
<br />prepare legislation authorizing the Service Director to advertise for the salvage of
<br />non-burnable rubbish. "Yeas" Caster, Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West, Van Zandt,

<br />on Appointments: Mangani, Caster, Leonard.
<br />A 5 minute recess was declared so that the Gommittee on Appointments could review the
<br />qualifications of James Prokasy to serve on the Planning Commission.
<br />Mr. Caster, Chairman of the Committee on Appointments, advised that the committee
<br />approves the Mayor's appointment of James Pr•okasy to serve the unexpired term of
<br />T. Stack on the Planning Commission.
<br />Mr. Caster moved, seconded by Mr. Van Zandt, that the Mayor's appointment of James
<br />Prokasy to serve on the Planning Commission be approved. "Yeas" Caster, Hodgins,
<br />Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West, Van Zandt.
<br />Mr. Mangani moved, seconded by Mr. West, that the Law Director be directed to prepare
<br />legigation establishing the position of SafE:ty-Service Director at a salary of $8500.00
<br />per year. "Yeas" Caster, Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani, West, Van Zandt. Mr. Leonard voted
<br />a qualified no - he advised that he the combining of the the two positions but
