<br />Mr. Caster reported on the meeting of the F'ublic Service and Development
<br />Committee with Floyd Browne and AsaociataQ, Ltd, coneerning the extending
<br />of the sewer pragram and advised that Brown.e and Associates are to make a
<br />report;,
<br />Mr. Caster moved, seconded by Mr. Van Zandt, to accept the reaignetion of
<br />Louise Hall as Clerk of Council. "Yeas" Caster, Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert,
<br />Mangani, Van Zandt.
<br />Mr, Caster moved, seconded by Mrs. Hodgins, to appoint Mrs. Margaret West
<br />ae Clerk of Council. "Yeas" Csster,Hodgins,Leonard,Limpert,Mangani,VanZ&ndt.
<br />Mr. Caster moved, aeconded by Mr. Mangani, that the Law Director be directed
<br />to prepare legielation setting the compensation far Glerk of Couneil at
<br />$150.00 per month, "Yeas" Caster,Ilodgins,Leonard,Timpert,Mengani,Van Zgndt.
<br />Mr, Mangani reported on the meeting of the Public Parke, Properties and
<br />Recreestion Committee with members of the Recreation Coimiseion and the
<br />Exchange Club held January 30, 1964. Mr. Mang$ni advised that the Cnm-
<br />mittee_recommends a Site Selection Committee be formed composed of one
<br />representative from the Administration, Counefl, City planning Commission,
<br />Recreation Commission and the SChool Board to select stiitable sites for
<br />City purposes, schools, Recreation and a site to relocate the Serviee
<br />Department Garage.
<br />Mr. Mangani reported on the joint meeting o,E the City planning Committee
<br />40,= and the Planning Commission concerning the High Rise Ordinance and advised
<br />that rough draft as amended by the joint committee has been turned over
<br />to the Law Director for a final draft.
<br />Ordinance No, 64-25 was introduced by Mr. Caster. An ordinance creating
<br />the position of a full time plumbing inspeci:or, and declaring an emergency.
<br />It was moved by Mr. Caster , seconded by Mr.. Mangani, that the statutory
<br />rule be suspended and the ordinance be read immediately the second and third
<br />times and put on its passage. The affirmati_ve vote on saia motion was as
<br />follows: Caster, Hodgfns, Leonard, Limpert, M$ngani, Van Zandt. Thereupon
<br />the ordinance was read the second and third times and put an its passage
<br />and the affirmative vote thereon was as foll.ows: Caster, Hodgine, Leonard,
<br />Limpert, Mangani, Van Zandt.
<br />Ordinance No. 64-26 was introduced by Mr. Van Zendt. An ordinance
<br />creating the poaition of a full time aseist.ant building inspector, and
<br />deciaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr. Van Zandt, seconded by
<br />Mrs. Hodgins, that the statutory rule be suspended end the ardinance be
<br />read immediately the second and third times and put an ite pessege. The
<br />affirmative vote on said motion was as follaws: Caster, Hodging, Leonard,
<br />Limpert, Mangani, Van Zandt. Thereupon the ordinance was read the second
<br />attd third times and put on its passage ehd the affirmetive vote thereon was

<br />the position of a part time heating and ventilating inspector, and decler-
<br />ing an emergency. It was moved by Mr. Mangani, seconded by Mr. Caster,
<br />that the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be read immediately
