page 3 - June 2nd, 1964 <br />Luceydale. The Committee reccmmends the change, but wants a deed restriction t.hat <br />the building on the parcels in question can remain only as long as it is used as a <br />residence. <br />The Clerk of Council read a letter from the State of Ohio, llepartment of Liquor <br />Control, dated May 26, 1964, advising us of a hearing in regard to issuing a D-1 <br />permit to Ohio Pizza Corp, at 26127 Lorain Road, the hearing to be on Monday, <br />July 6, 1964 at 1:00 P.M, EST in Room 5 of the Liquor Gontrol Office in Columbuse <br />In answer to a query fram Mr, Leonard, Mayor Christman verified that there are <br />funds available to cover the expenses of anyone from Council attending such a <br />hearing on behalf of Council. <br />Mr, Joe Hoislbauer appeared be.fore Coun.cil to request a plat change for property <br />located on Fitch Road. The change has been approved by the Planning Commission, <br />The matter was referred to the City Planning Committee for recammendation. <br />Mr. George Welsch presented a vacation plat made up in March, which he is having <br />difficulty in getting through the title: company. They have told him it must have <br />an ordinance number and be signed by the Mayor. <br />Mr, Caster is now presenta <br />After some discussion of Mr. Welsch's problem, Mr. Kitchen advised that the City <br />would prepare legislation and vacate it:. This will be taken up under new business. <br />Mr. West read a petition which had been presented to him, signed by some thirty- <br />%W three residents and property owners on MacKenzie, asking that construction of the <br />sidewalks be postponed unfil after the sewer is in, and the state highway project <br />is settled, <br />Mr. West stated that he is strictly for sidewalks for safety reasons. However, he <br />felt that if the residents feel they have legitimate reasons for their request, <br />they should be heard. Mr. West then made a motion that the petition be turned <br />over to the Public Improvement CommittE:e, who are presently considering sidewalks <br />and the Committee meet with the properl=y owners and hear comments and objections. <br />The motion was seconded by Mr. Limpert., "Yeas" Limpert, Van Zandt and West. <br />"Nays" Caster, Hodgins, Leonard, Mangani. Motion did not carry. <br />Council then heard various questions and complaints from residents of Stearns and <br />MacKenzie Roads with regard to the insttallation of sidewalks. <br />Mr, Caster, Chairman of the Public Imp;rovement Committee, then suggested a meeting <br />be set up with the residents on Thursd;sy, June llth at 8:00 P.M. at City Hall <br />when questions will be considered and ,snswered. <br />Mr. Madow appeared before Council with regard to the Deerfield Estates Subdivision <br />No. 3, requesting that the word "walk" be eliminated from the easement for a <br />25-foot walk and storm se.wer, which appears on the plat. After some discussion, <br />President 0'Neill referred the questiol:n back to the Planning Committee for a <br />unanimous decision, <br />Ordinance No. 64-117 was introduced by Mr. Leonard and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance amending SECtion 1174,02 (Setback Regulations) and 1174.03 (Setback <br />on corner lots) or Ordinance No. 62-33 (the Zoning Ordinance of the City of North <br />Oimsted) relating to set-back requirements in retail business use districts. <br />???? ? .?? ?}....,. r , . ,.,.?, .. •?,?? ? ??? ?
