<br />He recommends that Cauncil authorize pl,ans and speci£ications for water li.nes
<br />on Mill Road, BradlEy we.st of Barton and Barton from township from end of
<br />existing water; Canterbury south of Butiternut; Broxbourne, and study the
<br />possibility for water on Kainboea Drive in the valley.
<br />Safety-Service Director I,impert asked for authorization to advertise for bids
<br />for another "fogger", because of the dernand for mosquito contrpl.
<br />He also wishes to have authorizatinn to bid for an off-the-road vehicle to get
<br />into ditch areas, etc,, a four-wheel dr:Cve unit,
<br />Director Zimpert asked for authorizatiori to advPrtise for bids far slurry seal
<br />treatment for some of the roads at a cost of about $14,200. He explained this
<br />is a machine method of putting a coat nf asphali.ic rubber on the roads.
<br />He also requested authorizati_on ta advertise for bids f.or road resurfacing with
<br />tar and chip, at a cost of approxf_matE.ly $13,000,
<br />He reported that except tor seeding, tne work iri Candelight Subdivision No. 2,
<br />Noreen Subdivision, has been completed. The seeding originally put in was
<br />washed out. They will gos* m.,ney to cover reseeding. The rest of the work is
<br />satiefactory.
<br />Mr< Caster asked the engineer t:o furnish a priority list on streets to be resur-
<br />faced for next council meeting, The Engineer wi.ll 'tiave the list.
<br />Mr. Mangani asked for an estimate of the cost of the off-the-road vehicle. Mr.
<br />I,impert said about $2,400,
<br />Mr, Caster asked the approximate cost of a"fogger", Mr. Limpert thinks about
<br />$2,000 will cover it,
<br />Mrs. Hodgins, Chairman of the Safety-Health-Welfare committee reported on the
<br />committee's meeting of May 26th and thei:r meeting held prior to this council
<br />meeting,
<br />Her committee recommends fihat Codiffed Ordinance 141,02, Paragraph 3, be changed
