<br />December 6, 1966 - Page 77 <br />Mr. Mangani requested that legisiation be drawn approving the Rinyu Subdivision <br />on Decker Road for- record purposes oniy. <br />Mr. Mangani requested that legislation be drawn approving the Krock Subdivision <br />on Decker Road for record purposes only. <br />Mr. Caster reported that the Municipal Development Committee is meeting on <br />Thursday, December- 8th with three property owners from Louis Drive, who are <br />requesting some r-elief on their sanitary sewer assessments. When pians were <br />changed from tunnel!ing to an open cut, and the main was relocated, it meant <br />re-eng i neer i nq the I atera I ori Lou i s, so that the three properfiy owners are now <br />in a position where they cannot connect into their basements. They have requested <br />to be heard, and the Committee has arranged the meeting to consider relief. <br />The cost of puttinq the lateral in and a lift to service them probably would <br />be prohibitiveo <br />Mr. Caster stated the Committee will try to cover other business at the <br />meeting, such as the proposed consent ordinance for I-80. When it was briefly <br />discussed at a meeting the other night, they found there were statements in <br />it which possibly relieve the City of some controls which we feel we should <br />havee Mr. Caster asked Council to review the proposed ordinance and report to <br />the Committee for discussion any questions or suggestions they might haveo <br />Mro Caster also stated that the Committee will review the Cottonwood Trai!s <br />Subdivision situation where the legisiation has been pending for some months, <br />awaiting final acceptance. <br />Mr. West asked about the progress on leqislation requiring the builders to put <br />in sidewalks in Park Ridge, and was advised by Mr. Caster that the Law Director <br />was not able to have the legislation ready for this meeting. <br />Safety-Service Director Limpert reported that the temporary road into North <br />Park Estates has been closed off. <br />The Safety-Service Director also advised Council that on Porter Road north of <br />Mills, there is a 5" storm sewer which runs to the Westlake line. There are <br />approximateiy twenty homes flowinq into it, and the ditch will not take all <br />the water goirg into it. He suqgested puttinq a storm sewer 1-hrough there on <br />a temporary basis untii the final sewer program is in. He stated a 12" storm <br />sewer wouid serve for the time being. The probiem was referred to the <br />Municipal Development Committee for study, <br />Mr. Caster requested that fegislation be drawn authorizinq the Safety-Service <br />Director to instruct the Engineer to redesign the area between Porter Road and <br />Dover Road from Westlake line south to Lorain Road into a drainage area which <br />will outfail into the new ditch that was dug by the developers of Sandy Ridge <br />Subdivision. <br />
