. <br />MINUTES OF MEETiNG OF THE COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />November 16, 1956 <br />8:08 P.M. <br />Present: Mayor Ralph Cht-istman; President of Council Francis J. O'Neill; <br />Henry Caster; Carroil Eian; Jack Foltz; Virginia Hodgins; Dewey Limpert; <br />Alex Mangani; John West. <br />Also present: J. Bruce Kltchen, Law Director; W.L. Gerlach, Finance Director; <br />Safety-Service Director Del Limpert; Margaret West, Clerk. <br />Minutes of November !, 1966 were approved as read. <br />Mayor Christman reported that the suit on the Breezewood Treatment Plant <br />wili be started November 16. <br />Safety-Service Director Limpert asked for legislation to advertise for bids <br />for new tires and tubes tor ali departments of the City. <br />He also announced that the three new packer-type trucks will be in the Service <br />Department Yard next Wednesday fior inspection. They will be put into service <br />the followinq Monday, on the same routes now scheduled. Around the first of <br />December a different schedule will be set up. <br />Mr. Caster, Chairman of Municipal DevelopTnent, e-eported;they met on November <br />10. They discussed the Southern Avenue storm sewer assessment, and are wait- <br />ing for advice from Squire, Sanders and Dempsey as to further procedure. <br />With reqard to the Serio problem on Kennedy Ridge, where there is a leaking <br />gas well, the Clerk of Council was instructed to contact the Division of <br />Mines to send out an invesfiiqator, furn'lshing them with a copy of our ordinance <br />on qas wells, and copies of a!I correspondence so far, with the explanation <br />that we are hesitant to run in a sanita ry sewer connection with the leaking <br />gas well. <br />Mr. Caster aiso requested that the Clerk of Council contact Floyd Browne <br />and request their interpretation of the reference to 250 feet from the property <br />line for house connectlons, as contained in Ordinance 65-103 which amends <br />Ordinance No. 61-143. <br />Mr. Caster referred to a letter dated November Ist from Blossom ILand which <br />asked the City to pay for- lateral sewer stubs . The Committee recommends that <br />the City pay their share of thts bill which would be somewhere between $350 <br />and $400< <br />Mr. Caster further reported his committee discussed the matter of Cottonwood <br />Trails Subdivision, but the problems there have not yet been resolved. <br />Mr. Foltz, Chairman of the Legislative Committee, r•eported he had been asked <br />. ???,.
