f <br />. <br />November 15, 1966 - Paqe 2 <br />to research the Codified Ordinances with regard to control of burninq refuse. <br />He has reported to the Safety-Service Director that he befieves Chapter 1511, <br />Sec. 1511.062 would take care of the entire problem. <br />Mr. West, Chairman of the Finance Committee, reviewed the matters under dis- <br />cussion at their meeting on November 7th. They are investiqating the matter <br />of an overcharqe to a grocery store on the sewer revenue fund, and have requested <br />additional facts on the matter. <br />They discussed the matter of purchasing an emergency generator for the Dover <br />Life Station, and will ask for legislation for taking bids for this, which will <br />cost somewhere in the neignborhood of $6,000. <br />ThaCommittee discussed with the City Engineer, the garbage and refuse study <br />which he is presently making, and the cost thereof. <br />They also approved the purchase of part of the riqht-of-way for Great Northern <br />Bou I evard, I'egi s l a-hi ori for'wfi i:chi i s on the agenda. <br />The Committee recommends and will request legislation authorizinq the Mayor to <br />enter into a contract with the County Heaith Department for health services for <br />the year 1967 at 7(t per head. <br />The Committee is still workinq on the study of the City's orqanization. <br />Mr. Manqanl, Chairman af the Desiqn and Platting Committee, reported on their <br />meetinq held November 10, 1966. <br />They recommend that the annexed land area be zoned for "A" residence, although <br />the lots are platted with 75 foot frontage and a depth of 200 feet, which is <br />five feet less than our existing "A" Residence requlrements, although the area <br />is qreater. <br />With regard to the legislation which was on public hearing on November 3, 1-he <br />Committee recommends passage of 66-197, 66-213 and 66-247. With regard to 66-200 <br />the committee recommends that vote be put off until the next Council meeting, <br />in order to give the developer an opportunity to meet with residents and 6xplain <br />his plans. <br />The Committee is recommending that Mitchell Drlve be dead-ended, and will <br />request legislation to eccomplish this. <br />The Committee further recommends approval of an addrtional ten feet of dedicated <br />riqht of way leadinq into the Spruce School Site, and will ask for legislation. <br />Mr. Manqani reported receipt of a letter from C. 0. Fischer, agreeing to the <br />stipulations set forth with regard to renewing the temporary roadway ini-o North <br />_.?
