t <br />k <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />July 19, 1966 <br />8:09 P.M. <br />Present: Mayor Ralph Christman; Henry Caster; Carroll Eian; Jack Foltz; <br />Virginia Hodgins; Alex Mangani; John West, President Pro Tema <br />Also present: Law Director J. Bruce Kitchena Finance Director W. L. Gerlach; <br />Safety-Service Director Del Limpert; City Engineer Richard Labas; Clerk of <br />Council Margaret West. <br />Absent: President Francis J. 0'Neill; Dewey Limpert. <br />The first order of business was a public hearing on the following ordirar?ce-_; <br />Ordinance No. 66-148 - An Ordinance amending the Zone Map adopted as part af <br />the Ordinance No. 61j-V (known as the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted) <br />by changing the desiqnation thereof of certain land from its present desiynatic;n <br />thereon as B Residence Single to Retaif Business General; and Urdinance No. <br />66-149 - An Ordinance amending the Zone Map adopted as part of the Ordinance <br />No. 62-33 (known as the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted) by changinq <br />the designation thereon of certain land from its present designation thereon <br />as Retail Business General to B Residence Single. <br />Mr. Robert Schupp, Attorney for Medicai Realty, inc., who is requestir;g the <br />? above zoning changes, presented a review of their plans. There being no fiur--- <br />ther comments on the proposed zoning change, the hearing was declared closed. <br />The regular meeting of Council was called to order at 8;19 P.M. <br />Minutes of the meeting of July 5, 1966 were read and approved. <br />Mayor Ralph Christman reported receipt of documents from the County Commissicner-_ <br />in connection with the annexing of a portion of Olmsted Township. <br />He also reported having on file the plans and specifications for the Canier-bury <br />sewer north of Lorain and suggested that legislation be requested to proceed <br />on this. <br />Safety-Service Del Limpert referred Council to his written report. He had no <br />further comments. <br />Engineer Labas reported plans for the Barton and Alexander sidewaiks have berr) <br />revised to reflect those for which permits have been taken out, and are on file. <br />Mr. Mangani, Chairman of Design and Platting Committee, reported that the Plar;- <br />ning Commissian has now approved the Don Horace re-zoning referred to it by <br />Council, and that his committee will ask for legislation to be prepared. <br />Mr. Peter McDonnell, 4752 Dover Center Road, questioned the elevation of 1-he new <br />sidew6lks being installed on Dover Road.
