July 5, 1966 - Page 2 <br />Commission as to this development of the Mastick Stables property, as proposed <br />by Mr> Yaruso <br />The Committee is recommending that the Lekas Subdivision, consisting of two <br />sublots on Columbia, be approved, with a provision that the compass headings <br />which appear to be incorrect, be Ghecked, and if necessary, correctede <br />On the Kefse) subdivision of ten lots on Norfh Barton Road, including one lot <br />which 1s triangular in shape, the Committee will approve the subdivision, <br />provided that the developer furnishes a letter stating that he will abide <br />by fihe Zoning Code on all of the sublots, especialiy Sublot I, and will not <br />ask for varianceso <br />The Committee has studied and approves a request from the Planning Commission <br />to change (a) in Sections 1151m02 and 1151003 of the Zoning Code to read "Any <br />use permitted in the adjacent residence district whether it be A, B or C", <br />rather than "Any use permitted in the A, B or C Residence District", as it <br />now reads. <br />The Committee again considered a request from the Board of Building Code <br />Appeals for a change from B Residence to C Restdence in fihe Butternut Ridge <br />Subdivision, in the Burns, Porter, Decker- areao The Committee is still in <br />favor of leaving the zoning the same and recommends that a letter be sent <br />to the Board of Building Code Appeals outlining the reasons far the decision <br />not to change the zoningo <br />On the advice of the Direcfior of Law, a public hearing date will be set for <br />the proposed change of name of West 237°Fh to Brendan Lane, Ordinance No. <br />66-141. <br />Mr. Mangani at the last meeting requested legislation to accept the amended <br />plats for Columbia Land Nos. I and 3. Since it has been found that the <br />originai plats are a matter of record, it will be necessary for the developer <br />to make application to the Court of Common Pieas to vacate fihe original re- <br />corded plats before any action can be taken to accept the amended plats. A <br />letter to the developers expiaining the situation and outlining the steps <br />to be taken was requestedo <br />Mr. Mangani called Council's attention to the fact fihat the Law Director has <br />advised that Council must now authorize by ordinance acceptance by the Mayor <br />of any land deeded 1-o the City from cluster developments, etc. <br />As Chairman of the Public Parks, Proper-ty and Recreation Committee, Mr. Mangani <br />-? presented to Council renditions of various elevations of the new library <br />, building. More detailed drawings are to be available in the near future. A <br />booth with information about the new library is also planned for Homecoming. <br />
