.? <br />'r <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />June 21, 1966 <br />Present: Mayor Ralph Christman; President of Council Francis J. 0'Neill; <br />Henry Caster; Carroil Eian; Jack Foltz; Virginia Hodgins; Dewey Limpert; <br />AI Mangani; John West. <br />Also present: W. L. Gerlach, Finance pirector; Del Limpert, Safety-Service <br />Director; Richard Labas, City Engineer; Margaret West, Clerk. <br />Minutes of the meeting of June 7, 1966 were approved as read. <br />Mayor Christman requested that Gouncil have legislation prepared which would <br />start appropriation proceedings for the corner of Great Northern and Lorain. <br />This property is owned by Cornelius Mitchell and Agnes Rados. <br />Mayor Christman also reported receipt of a report from the State that the <br />the center line on State Route 252 has been journalized and they should be <br />moving ahead at the same time as 1-80. <br />With regard to the Cluster development of Blossom Land, the parcel of land <br />rw-l the City wanted was on the Fox parcel. This parcel is tied up in a suit, so <br />that we have a deed for 8.68 acres of land that we could hold until the Fax <br />property clears. The Mayor requested authority to sign an agreement on this,, <br />which would require a motion of Council. <br />Mr. Mangani moved that the Mayor be authorized to enter into this agreement. <br />Motion was seconded by Mr. Eian. "Yeas" Caster, Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Llmper,t, <br />Mangani, West. <br />Safety-Service Limpert reported that they opened bids for the Burns-Porter- <br />Decker Storm Sewer. P. R. E. Construcfiion was low bidder for $18,654. They <br />should start work in five to ten days. <br />City Engineer Labas reported receipt ofi the bond for Park Ridge and Deerpath No. <br />4. He also reported receipt of the deed for Sands Subdivisions. <br />Mrs. Hodgins, Chairman of the Public Service and Utilitites reported they me-r <br />on June 14th and discussed a report from the Illuminating Company. It was <br />decided to take no action on street lights. <br />Mrs. Hodgins, Chairman of the Liquor Control Committee reported receipt of a <br />copy of an application for a carry"out permit for Lawsons. There has been <br />no notice of a hearing date for the Riveredge permit which Council has <br />opposed.
