l <br /> <br />May 17, 1966 - Page 6 <br />Ordinance No. 66-137 was introduced by Mr. Mangani. An Ordinance to amend <br />Section I of Ordinance No. 66-III, passed April 19, 1966, to clarify the <br />purpose for whlch the notes and bonds authorized by that ordinance are being <br />issued, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Mangani moved for suspension of the <br />rule requiring three separate readings, seconded by Mr. Eian. Affirmative <br />vote was Caster, Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani. Mr. Mangani then <br />moved for adoption of the ordinance, seconded by Mr. Eian. Affirmative voi-e <br />thereon was Caster, Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani. <br />A discussion was held on a decision contained in the Planning Cammission minutes <br />of May 10, 1966, on Page 2, Item (c), wherein they rejected the proposed rezon- <br />ing of parcels of Medical Realty. It was decided to have a special meeting <br />with the Planning Commission to further discuss the matter, and in the meartime <br />to ask for legislation to be prepared for the rezoning, so that it would be <br />ready for the next Council meeting, if Council decides to go ahead. <br />Mr. Mangani moved that the request from the Planning Commission for a thirty- <br />day extension for further study of the Phillip Engoglia Subdivision Nc. 2 te <br />granted. Motion was seconded by Mrs. Hodgins. "Yeas" Caster, Eian, Foltz, <br />Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani. The Clerk was instructed to so adviss the Planring <br />Commission. <br />Mr. Mangani requested that legislation be prepared to change the name of West <br />237th Street to Brendan Lane. A date for a public hearing will be set at the <br />next meeting. <br />Mr. Mangani requested that legislation be prepared approving the rezoning request <br />of Medical Realty, Inc. for rezoning a parcel of land at the corner of Lorair <br />and Route 252, relocated, the metes and bounds to be obtained from the architect, <br />William Koster, The Arcade, Cleveland, Ohio. <br />Mrs. Hodgins requested that a resolution directed to the Director, Department of <br />Liquor Control, State of Ohio, Donald D. Cook, be prepared stating Council's <br />opposition to Application No. H59891 in the name of Harry Constarrtine, beirig <br />for a D-5 permit, such legislation to be written on an emergency basis. <br />Mr. Foltz requested that legislation be prepared to amend Cadified Ordinance <br />No. 517.07, as recommended in his report, a copy of which recommended amerdmenl- <br />was furnished to the Clerk of Council. <br />A meeting was set for 7:30 P.M. on May 24th for Council as a whole to meet <br />with the Planning Commission for a didcussion of the proposed rezoning requested <br />by Medical Realty, Inc. <br />Mr. Caster requested that legislation be prepared to establish an equalization <br />board to hear the objections on the Southern Avenue storm sewer assessments, the <br />names of the members to be left blank.
