<br />March 15, 1966 - Page 6 <br />Ordinance No. 66-67 was intraduced by Mr. Eian and glven its first reading. <br />An Ordinance amending Section 2 of Ordinance No. 64-I10 enacted May 19, 1964, <br />entitled "An Ordinance authorizing the Chief of the Division of Fire to estabiish <br />'Fire Lanes' on certain conditions, providing for the towing away of vehicles <br />standing or parked in fire lanes and removing other obstructions from fire lanes, <br />establishinq a penalty and decfaring an emergency" and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Eian moved for suspension of the rule requirinq three separate readings, <br />seconded by Mr. Limpert. Mr. Foltz stated that something he had requested was <br />not included in the ordinance, and Mr. Eian thereupon withdrew his motion and <br />Mr. Limpert his second, and the ordinance was put on first readinq. <br />Ordinance No. 66-68 was introduced by Mr. West. An Ordinance to change appropria- <br />tions and to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, for the year endinq December 31, 1966, and <br />declarinq an emergency. Mr. West moved for suspension of the rules requiring <br />three separate readings, seconded by Mr. Mangani. Affirmative vote was Caster, <br />Eian, Foitz, Hodgins, Limpert, Manganl, West, Mr. West then moved for adoption <br />of the ordinance, seconded by Mr. Mangani. Affirmative vote was Caster, Eian, <br />Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Manqani, West. <br />Ordinance No. 66-69 was introduced by Mr. West and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance recognizinq a claim agafnst the City and authorizing payment thereof. <br />Ordinance No. 66-70 was introduced by Mr. Fo{tz and given its fiirst readinq. <br />An Ordinance amendlnq the Codified Ordlnances of the City of North Olmsted, <br />Title 3 Chapter 121, Section 121.01, Subsection 13, entitled "Standinq Commit#ees". <br />Ordinance No. 66-71 was lntroduced by Mr. West and given its first reading. An <br />Ordinance recognizing a claim against the City and authorizing payment thereof. <br />Mrs. Hodgins requested that the legisiation on demolition of buildings on <br />property on Maple R1dqe which she prev+ousiy requested be prepared on an <br />emergency basis. <br />Mr. West asked that legislation be drawn authorizing the Safety-Service Directar <br />to advertise for four new police cars, on an emergency basis. <br />Mr. West requested thaj {egislation be drawn authorizing the Safety-Service <br />Director to advertise for..,bids for two new backhoes. <br />Mr. West requested that emergency legislation be prepared authorizing the Safety- <br />Service Director to advertise for bids for storm sewers on the Decker-Porter- <br />Burns storm sewer. The City Engineer is to furnish the legal descriptions to <br />the taw Director. <br />Mr. West requested that emergency legislation be prepared revising Ordinance No. <br />64-56, the pay for the street commissioner. <br />--T.
