Mr. Manqani, Chairman of Publ ic ParKs, Property a-nd Recreation Commi.fitee, <br />reported that at a meeting on February 7th with ttre-Exchange:i,iub, they agreed <br />to the use of the City Park ball diamonds by -Fheir Hot Stove Leaque in which <br />200 to 250 boys, ages II to 16 participate. The ball diamonds wiEl be Gondi- <br />tioned fior piay as soon as the weather breaks. <br />They also met wifih members of the Reereetion Commisslon. The ditference in <br />fihe pay rate for male and female superv9sors as indicated last meefiing was <br />explalned. The men are required to be-on duty earlier, to haul out equipment <br />and to put it away and close the playgrounds. For this reason, the women's <br />work hours are shorter. Suqgestions were Iisted for possibie capital improve- <br />ments to be made from a$10,000 fund which is avaiiable. <br />Ordinance No. 65-223 was given its second reading. An Ordinance accept.ng for <br />dedication West 237th Street from Lorain Road to Reed Avenue. <br />Ordinance No. 66-15 was given its third readinq. An Ordinance authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into a contract with Cuyahoqa County for the widen:ng and <br />improving of Dover Center Road from Lorain Road approximately 400 feet north. <br />Mr.Limpert moved for adoption of the ordinance, seconded by Mr. Foltz. Affirma- <br />tive vote fihereon was Caster, Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani, West. <br />Ordinance No. 66-16 was given its third reading. An Ordinance prohibit'ing the <br />opening of the pavement on Dover Center Road from the intersection of Lorain <br />Road to approximately 400 feet north of Lorain Road for a period of five (5) <br />years, except for emerqency or necessary repairs. Mr. Caster moved far <br />adoption of the ordinance, seconded by Mr. Manqani. Affirmative vote was <br />Caster, Eian, Foltz, Hodqins, Limpert, Mangani, West. <br />Ordinance No. 66-18 was qiven its third reading. An Ordinance accepting for <br />dedication Delmere Drive from Clague Road to Clayton Drive; Beaumont Drive <br />from Delmere D rive to Amesbury Drive; Clayton Drive from Delmere Drive to <br />Amesbury Drive and Amesbury D.rive from Clayton Drive to Beaumont Drive, Rose <br />Tree Subdlvision #I. Mr. Caster moved for adoption of the ordinance, seconded <br />by Mr. Mangani. AffirmatiVe vote was Caster, Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, <br />Manganl, West. <br />Ordinance No. 66-30 was introduced by Mr. Mangani. An Ordinance authorizinq <br />and directing the cancellation of special assessments on Permanent Parcel <br />No. 236-18-2 being an assessment for construction of a sanitary sewer lateral, <br />and declaring an emergency.
