<br />Resoiution No, 66-44 was introduced by Mr. Caster. A'Resoiution authnrizzPnq the
<br />Mayor to siqn a quit-claim deed to Charles F. Augaitis and Sophie E. Auga;ris
<br />deeding property lncorrectly deeded to the C'?ty ot North Oimsted, and decla-inq
<br />an emergency. Mr. Caster moved for suspens"ion of the ru6e requiring three
<br />separate readings of the resolution, seconded by Mr. Mangani. Affirmative
<br />vote was Caster, Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Manqan(, West. Mr. Caster°
<br />then moved for adoption of the resotutton, seconded by Mr. Mangani. Aff+rmative

<br />Mr. Mangani moved that Councll approve Scheme #2 Afternate Aiignment 5tudy for-
<br />State Route 252 relocation. Motion was seconded by Mr. Caster. "Yeas" Caster,
<br />Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani, West.
<br />Mr. West, Chairman of the Finance Committee, made a thorough presentation of
<br />the proposed budget for 1966, by means of a 9arge chart. Mr. West then requested
<br />that the budget as shown for 1966, be drawn up. Mofiion was seconded by Mr.
<br />Caster, "Yeas" Caster, Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Manqani, Wesfi.
<br />Mr. Labas reported that he had approved the improvement plans_fior Sandy Riage #2
<br />together with the topographic map. Sinee it will be considered by Planning
<br />Commission at their next meetinq, and the developer would like to have Counci9
<br />act on them as soon as possible, the Eng°rneer sugqested that fegisiatl'on be
<br />requested now so that it would be ready at the next Council meetPng.
<br />Mr. West requested that legislation be prepered estabfishinq the position of
<br />Assistant Secretary in the Finance Director's office.
<br />Mr. West requested that leqislation be drawn up estabiishing a pet1-y cash fund
<br />for the Fire and Police Dspartments, in the amount of $50.00 each, and that the
<br />Mayor's Secretary's petty cash fund be increased to $50.00.
<br />Mr. West requested that leqisiation be prepa.red cancelling the assessment for
<br />sidewalks on the Charles Cullen prope-rty on Fleharty.
<br />Mr. West asked that emergency leqislation be prepared to grant authorifiy to
<br />proceed with the purchase ofi property for the new-fire station.
<br />Mr. West asked that legislation be prepared revising Ordanance No. 2407, and
<br />establishing new pay rates for the Recreation Comm+ssion.
