More research is necessary before they can make <br />any recommendations. <br />Mr. Limpert, Chairman of the Transportation Commit#ee-, reported that they met <br />with the Bus Committee regarding the Safety Award Dinner to be held on February <br />19th. Eiqhteen drivers will be receivinq two-year safefiy awards and three will <br />receive one-year awards. A check of the records shows that chargeabie accidents <br />have been cut in half since the awards system has been installed. <br />Eleven area schools, whose students use our buses, were contacted as to whether <br />or not they felt 7:00 P.M. was reasonable'as'a deadline for'the use of student <br />passes. Answers have been received from five of the schoois, and all were in <br />agreement with the time limit, so that the Transportation Committee feels that <br />the hour is satisfactory. <br />Mr. West announced that the Finance Committee will meet on Thursday, January <br />20th at 8:15, and advised everyone with requests for money in 1966 to present <br />their requests at that time. <br />Mr. Mangani, Chairman of the City Planning Committee, reported they have <br />met and approved two subdivisions. First was the re-subdivi5ion of P64+*, "Ft ? <br />Hnimorts No. 2. The subdivision will be divided by Interstate Route 80, and <br />that is now included in Mr. Bauer's plan. The Committee recommends that <br />Council approve the change. <br />The Law Director advised that the old recorded plat will have to be vacated, <br />whlch will require an action in Common Pleas Court to vacate the old plat and <br />refile the new plat. <br />The Clty Planning Committee also approve of the McPherson Subdivision, consist- <br />ing of the subdividinq of a lot located near Mastick on Columb•i-a into two lots. <br />It has already been approved by the Planninq Commission and the Board of Zoninq <br />Appeals. The City Plannirtq Committee will ask for leqislation. <br />Mr. Manqani moved that the request of the Planning Commission for an extra thirty <br />days for study of the following subdivisions, etc., be granted by Council: Roll- <br />ing'Acres: Medical'Realty; Golf View Subdivision; Proposed Lorain Road rezoning - <br />Oviatt; Sandy Ridqe improvemeMts. Motion was seconded by Mr. West. "Yeas" <br />? Beverly Hills Subdivision No. 2 now known as Olmsted Woods Subdivision
