Harry Hird is the new Chief, with <br />Sergeants Frank Waldron and George Colpert being promofied fo the rank of <br />Lieutenant. The new officers are to be sworn ln at the fiestimonial dinner <br />for retirinq Chief Chrfstman. <br />Ordinance No. 65-312 was given its third reading. An Ordinance adopting the <br />minimum standards for residental swimming pools as established by the National <br />Swimming Pool Institufie. Mr. Foltz moved for adoption of the ordinance, seconded <br />by Mrs. Hodgins. Affirmative vote was Caster, Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, <br />Mangani, West. <br />Resolution No. 65-314 was qiuen its thi.rd reading. A Resolution authorizing the <br />Director of Public Service and Public Safety to advertise for bids for a 1966 <br />? one-half ton pick-up truck for the Sewaqe Treatment Plant. Mr. West moved for <br />adoption of the resolution, seconded by Mr. Mangani. Affirmative vote was <br />Caster, Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani, West. <br />Ordinance No. 65-344 was given its third reading. An 4rdinance authorizing fihe <br />Safety-Service Director to advertise #or bids on the real properfiy located on <br />Summerland Avenue wi#hin the City of North Olmsted according to the terms and <br />provisions of Ohio Revised Code 721.01 and 721.03. Mr. Manqani moved for adoption <br />of the ordinance, seconded by Mr. Caster. Affirmative vote was Caster, Eian, <br />Foltz, Hodqins, Limpert, Manqani, West. <br />Ordinance No. 66-4 was qiven its second reading. An Ordinance to be effective <br />, 196 authorizing and directing the compulsory retirement <br />for all full time city employees except those employees covered under City of <br />North Olmsted Ordinance No. 65-241. <br />Mr. Foltz moved to amend the ordinance by insertinq "April I, 1966" as the <br />effective date. Motion was seconded by Mr. Mangani. "Yeas" Caster, Eian, <br />Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Manqani, West. <br />Ordinance No. 66-5 was given its second reading. An Ordinance addinq to Codified <br />Ordinance No. 305.01 entitled "Traffic Confirol Map" and Codified Ordinance No. <br />305.02 entitled "Traffic Control File" prohibitinq a left turn into Brookpark <br />Road from the west bound lane on Lorain Road. <br />
