L. Gerlach, Finance <br />Director; Del Limpert, Safety-Service Director; Richard Labas, Cifiy Eng'ineer; <br />Margaret West, Clerk. <br />Minutes of the meeting of November 16th were approved as read. <br />Safety-Servece DPrector Limpert gave the mayor's report in his absence, ad;Hs- <br />;ng Counci6 that the first payment of the federal grant for the interceptor <br />sewer wn the amount of $164,500 had been received. <br />The Safety-Service Director, in his own report requested Council to recor,s°der <br />enacting leg7?slation for "No Left Turn" onto Brookpark from rhe westbound "ane <br />on Lorain. <br />He reported that the County has been doing sur•vey work at the Dover and Loraq?n <br />I.nfersection, and the Mayor has received an agreement for execution on this <br />? improvement fr°om the County Commissioners, which will require legislation by <br />Counc;Bo The Public Service and Development Committee will review the matter. <br />Mro Lempert r°eported that the sidewalks on Burns Road are in need of repair, <br />or repiar.ement in many areas, and questioned what procedure should be fo8lowed <br />for such replacement, The Public Service and Development Committee will <br />sfudy *he probiem. <br />The Safetty-Service Director repo <br />Garage, and Mre Best, of the Bus <br />look at Three buses, used, which <br />9t was the°sr conclusion that the <br />and were a good buy at $18,400. <br />fihe purchaseg and advised that a <br />the City, <br />rted to Council that he, Mr. Weber of the Bu7 <br />office, had mede a trlp to Detroit today tc <br />are being sold by the Inter-City Coach Co_ <br />buses would give five or six years of service, <br />He asked thafi Council consider authorizing <br />payment of $200 per bus would hold them fcr <br />John Wesf is now present. <br />Mrso Hodgins, Chairman ofi the Public Health, Safety and,Welfare Comnlttee, repor-ted <br />that a meeting held prior to Council they unanimously recommended passage of <br />an ordinance regarding accessory parking facilities patterned after Fairview <br />Park Ordinance 931008, and they further recommend that ft be passed on an <br />emergency basise <br />
