An Ordinance, <br />to be effective February l, 1966, authorizing and directing the compulsory <br />retirement for all full time members of the City of 1Varth Olmsted Police <br />Department and Fire Department upon attaining the age of sixty-five (65) years. <br />Ordinanee No, 65-263 was introduced by Mr, West, Giving consent of the City of <br />North Olmsted to the removal of snow and ice from certain roads within the <br />City, Mr, West moved for suspension of the rule requiring three separate <br />readings of the ordi.nance, seconded by Mr. Leonard, The affirmative vote was <br />Caster, Foltz, Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West. Mr. West moved for <br />suspension of the rule requiring reading of the or3inance in its entirety, <br />seconded by Mr. Leonard, Affirmative vote was Caster, Foltz, Hodgins, Leonard, <br />Limpert, Manganf, West, Mr. West then moved for adoption of the ordinance, <br />seconded by Mr. Leonard, Affirmative vote was Caster, Foltz, Hodgins, <br />Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West. <br />Mr. Mangani presented a communication he had received from Lakeshore Planners <br />regarding a preliminary plan for City Line, Inc, off Barton Road. It was <br />referred to the Public Development Committee, and thE Clerk was requested to <br />notify I,akeshore Planners of the action taken, <br />Mayor Christman announced that Police Chief George Christman is retiring as of <br />January 1, 1966, after forty years of service, <br />Mr. Labas annotxnced that he has prepared and filed plans and specifieations and <br />estimate of the cost of the proposed Midvale sidewalks, <br />Mr. Caster announced the Public Service and Development Committee will meet on <br />Tuesday, November 9 at 8:00 P.M. at City Hall, <br />Mr, 0°Neill referred the Mayor's request for clarification of the rules govern- <br />ing the sound truck to the Legislative Committee for study, <br />Mrs, Hodgins requested that legislation be drawn authoriaing the Safety-Service <br />Director to advertfse for bids for insurance coverage for the City. <br />Mr?
