<br />President 0'Neill recognized the presence of students from the High School
<br />Problems of Democracy class, and they were introduced,
<br />Mr, Lloyd Dobbins, 23242 Alexander Road, asked the amount of the gerformance
<br />bond now f ixed covering contractors working within the city. He was advised
<br />by the Mayor that it is $1,000, which seems to be adequate.
<br />Mr. Dobbins then asked Mr. Kitchen for the Appellate number of the case in
<br />A. mandamus filed in connection with the library bonds, and was advised that
<br />it wil l be f iled tomorrow,
<br />Mrs. Cox, 23857 Mastick Road, asked that Council provide for covering the
<br />drain where raw sewage enters the Sewage Plant, and a 36" pipe is open until
<br />the point where it enters the plant. After• some discussion, the matter was
<br />referred to the Public Utilities Committee for a study as to what ean be
<br />done to solve the problem,
<br />Mr. N. F. Crippen, 25123 Doe Drive, requested action on cleaning up an area
<br />in his neighborhood, about which he had previously talked to the Mayor and
<br />some of the counc ilmen,
<br />He was advised that legislation was on the agenda this evening calling for
<br />demolition of the building on the property in question, and that the matter
<br />would be handled through proper channels as promptly as possible. Mr. Kitchen
<br />also advised that he had today received an answer to a letter he wrote the
<br />owner, which permitted the structure to be torn down and the property to be
<br />cleaned up.
<br />Mr, Lawrence Spooner, 3640 Dawn Drive, asked about an open drainage ditch
<br />near his home where large rats have been seen on various occasions. A bait
<br />trap was promised for the area, but so far nothing has been done. He was
<br />advised that traps have been ordered, but not yet received,
<br />Ordinance No. 65-20 was given its third reading, An ordinance accepting for
<br />dedication Carla Lane from Walter Road to Hawkins Avenue, the Talp Subdivi-
<br />sion. After reading of the ordinance in its entirety, Mr. Caster moved for
<br />adoption, seconded by Mr. Mangani. Affirmative vbte thereon was Caster,
<br />Foltz, Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West,
<br />Ordinance No. 65-211 was given its third reading. An Ordinance accepting
<br />for dedication Vincent Drive, f rom Hawkins Avenue to Clague Road. After
<br />reading of the ordinance in its entirety, Mr. Caster moved for the adoption,
<br />seconded by Mr, Mangani. Affirmative vote was Caster, Foltz, Hodgins,
<br />Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West,
<br />Ordinance No, 65-221 was given its third reading, An Ordinance amending the
<br />North Olmsted Codified Ordinances by establishing Sections 1333.02 and
<br />1333,99(b) entitled Moving of Buildings by regulating the moving of buildings
<br />over, along or across streets and alleys in the City of North Olmsted;
<br />providing for protection to the City from damages arising out of such
