. <br />October 5, 1965 - Page L <br />balance of $16,334 being paid by the Federal government under the Urban Pianning <br />Assistance Program (701). We are committed ta pay $3,083, or one-half of our <br />cost when contracts are signed, Tnis amcunt strould be ineluded in the 1966 <br />budget. The second portion is to be paid sshen tfie project is half completed <br />in one year, The Federal grant will nat be pai.d until the project is completed. <br />The Committee recommends that the plan be implemented at the earliest possible <br />date so that application for the Federal Grar:t can be made by the January lst <br />deadline, <br />Mr. Mangani also reported recei.pt of a communication from the Planni.ng Commis- <br />sion advising that they have turned down the request ta c.nange the name of <br />West 237th to Deerpath Lane, because of the similarity af names in the area. <br />It is suggested that another name be selecbed, and the C1erk was instructed to <br />advise the petitioners. <br />City Engineer Labas reported that Treelane Subdivision No. 2 i.s rEady for <br />acceptance (Ordinance No, 65-225 pending), and that Franklin Bros. Subdivision <br />is also ready for acceptance (Ordinance No, 65-238 pending). <br />Mr. Labas also requested acceptance and dedication of Candlelight Subdivision <br />No, 2, <br />The Clerk read a letter from the Building Commissioner requesting legislation <br />to demolish a building on Columbia which has been condemned. The matter was <br />referred to the Safety Committee for study. <br />Ordinance No. 65-221 was given its second reading, An Ordinance amending the <br />North Olmsted Codified Ordinances by establishing Sections 1333.02 and 1333.99(b) <br />entitled moving of buildings by regulating the moving of buildings over, along or <br />across streets and alleys in the City of North Olmsted; providing for protection <br />to the City from damages arising out of such operation; authorizing the City <br />Building Commissioner to issue permits; providing for enfrrcement and prescribing <br />penalties for the violation of its provisions. <br />Ordinance No. 65-225 was given its second reading, An Ordinance accepting for <br />dedication Bentley Drive; from Lorain Road to Danberry Drive; Curtis Drive from <br />Bentley Drive to Danberry Drive; Plumwood Drive from Bentley Drive to Curtis <br />Drive; Danberry Drive from Bentley Drive to Curtis Drfve; Oakland Drive from <br />Danberry Drive to a point approximately 145 feet west of Oak Circle; Oak Circle <br />from Oak Lane approximately 170 feet to its terminus; Concord Drive from Danberry <br />Drive approximately 145 feet to the rear line of lots fronting on the easterly <br />side of Danberry Drive. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 65-234 was introduced by Mr, Limpert, A Resolution authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into a contract between the Blossom Land Corporation, the North <br />Olmsted Board of Education and the City of North Olmsted to establish a tap-in <br />charge for the North Olmsted Board of Educatian into the Sandy Ridge Subdivision <br />Sewer System and the Dover Road Lift Station, and declaring an emergency.
