<br />City Engz.neex° Labas reported tha-t of the four ordinance on acceptance of subdivisions
<br />which are before GounciY, he only recommends passage of 65-224, referring to Candle-
<br />light Subdivision, and suggested putting the others rn first reading, since some
<br />small problems remain ta be cleared up,
<br />Nlrs, Hodgins, Chairman af the Safety, Health, Welfare Committee, reported on their
<br />meeting held September 16th, at whzch Mrs, Hoclgins, Dewey Limpert, James Leonard,
<br />Pnlice Chief Christman and Safety-Service Di?ector De1 Lbmpert were present. They
<br />tnoved that Ghapter 139, section 139,02 of the GGc?dified Ordinances, the "Pable of
<br />Organbzat.ion f or the Personnel of the. Police IDegartment, be amended to read<
<br />The Pnliee Department complement shall consist of 1 Ghief of Police, 3 Lieutenants,
<br />3 Sergeants of Poliee and such pat.roTmen as determined by the Dirertor of Public
<br />Safety9 and legislation will be requested under Neca Lusxness,
<br />In further business the committee moved tc approve the new boole of Rules and Regula-
<br />tions af the Police Departmenty and recommended that traffic lights be instalied at
<br />Lorabn and Canterbrxx°y9 and Lmrain and Berkshire. Legislation for these lights wi11
<br />also be requested,
<br />Mr, Foltz, Chairman of the Legislative Committee9 reported or: their meef:ing on
<br />Segtember 14th with the Law Director, at whicn the ie,llowing w*ere discussed°

<br />and the Law Director, °The committee recommends t.hat we ask for legislation, as
<br />staggested. Subsequently minutes nf the Board of Building Code Appeals indicate

<br />notify the Board Chairman that Council would like them to reaieur the bomks in the
<br />Building Department Library as to the National Swimming Pool Y.nstbtute Minimum
