<br />The Committee recommends proceeding w ith the sidewalks on Columbia from
<br />Lorain to Mitchell Drive, and also on North Porter, Resclutfon of neces-
<br />sity is being presented.
<br />The Clague Road sidewalk will be put in with volunteer labar, The Safety-
<br />Service Dfrector has agreed to dig out for the sidewalk, and some of the
<br />Councilmen have agreed to push cement.
<br />The property owne m on Whitethorn have agreed to install their own sidewalks
<br />in the area discussed at the last council meeting,
<br />Mr, Mangani, Chairman of the City Planning Committee, reported that they had
<br />not held any meeting. He did report that in connectfon with the relocation
<br />of State Route 252, members of John Knox Church have asked that before going
<br />before the state , their expansion plans be considered,
<br />Mr. Caster pointed out that with regard

<br />an alleged improperly inspected sewer connection, which asked for claim to
<br />be paid by the City, Mr, Dobbins, the attorney-, who was in the audience,

<br />Otto Fischer, 5415 Kennedy Ridge Road, called Council's attentfon to a sewer
<br />problem he was having since sewer work has been started in his area. Safety-
<br />Service Director Limpert wi11 investigate the matter, and do what he can to
<br />correct it,
<br />Harry Hill, 25402 Butternut Ridge asked about the public hearing on State Route
<br />252, and asked whether a hearing would be held before it was submitted to the
<br />State, Mr, Caster explained that the state holds the public hearing, that it
<br />would be advertised in advance, and probably would not be held for two months
<br />at least,
<br />Louise Karkut, 4714 Georgette, said she would be glad to answer any questions
<br />Council might have with regard to the proposed swimming pool, and asked whether
<br />it was going to be possible to get it on the fall ballot. She was advised it
<br />would be discussed under new business,
<br />Ordinance No, 65-117 was introduced by Mr. Mangani. An Ordinance authorizing
<br />and directing the cancel]ation of special assessments on Permanent Parcel No,
<br />231-22-41, being an assessment for construction of a sanitary sewer lateral
<br />and declaring an emergency, Mr. Mangani moved for suspension of the rule re-
<br />quiring three separate readings of the ordinance, seconded by Mr, West.

<br />Mr, Mangani moved for suspension of the rule requiring reading of the ordinance
