When the Board of Control meets it will state the reason fxr rejection
is that the bids were over the engineer's estimate; Our charter does not
require any change in the plans and specif ications before readvertising it.
It is not mandatory that we accept the lowest bid. There is no need f or
additional authorization to re-advertise it. The Board of Controls will
turn the bids down - therefore there'is no bid.
Mr. Limpert moved that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Mr. Leonard.
"Yeas" Caster, Foltz, Hodgins, Leonard, L impert, Mangani, West,
Meeting was adjourned to the call of the Clerk at 9:58 P.M.
f ? a r4-.?
Margaret West, Clerk of Council Fraiicis J. 0'N President of Council
? ww?
